    @VolenOHR @Twitter @YouTube It was pretty bad about a year ago, but things have calmed down. Still, if you compare these social media platforms to the internet of of yore, you've got nothing but a giant monetized regression. Much more freedom of expression on AOL in 1997!

    @womnofvalr Met on AOL chat at 14 talked for hours at a time for years, never met, lost contact. I went to war, came home, got married to someone else, then divorced. Lonely, found her cell # in an old AOL message. Texted her, same number, left service met her for the first time at 25.
