@TeachItAsh So I used to go into AOL chatrooms when we first got 15, and my dad never really monitored us (sucker), this was 1997 I think. I was tall and athletic but had really acne. My friends and I pretended to ******** so that we could coerce other "********" to send us nudes. I was 16.

@oldestgreatest I also never put the 2 together, then again, I’m also not very bright, so it’s no surprise I missed it. In the early days, I would frequently mess up the address by typing “intermatwrestling” instead of “intermatwrestle” into my AOL browser.

I need to start emailing these places soliciting donations- the last thing I need are dozens of mail return labels. Mail volume is way down. Reminds me of being inundated with AOL CDs...

@slpnix One of my friends / schoolmates wrote naim (started as an AOL IM client but became a really nice IRC console client), I used to use that, either locally or on remote console. Looks like there's 4 CLI matrix clients including weechat support.
