You youngins won't get this but a lot of times I wish twitter was like the old AOL chatrooms of the mid 90's where you could pick your topic of what you wanted to enter and not have all the other crap show up !!

@BTC_JackSparrow Yes, $ETH is Yahoo... and $BTC is AOL. Praying for L2s or EIP1559 or any of these scaling solutions is just that. Praying for a solution to a fundamentally unscalable problem.

The fact that I created my aol email back in junior high school and can’t get help from @aolmail because 1 they charge you and 2 if you don’t remember the name you put on the account they can’t assist you is so dam frustrating 😡

@McGuire_GIS My step-sis and I both have names that start with K. When our little sis was born, my dad and stepmom decided to stick with it. When my dad was setting up AOL for the first time he wanted our email address to have all our first initials. Step sis and I shut that down real quick.

@aolmail I’m on the phone with one of your dumb **** associates right now telling me the only way they are going to reset my password is if I pay for a membership, because I have my old phone number on file so there’s “noooo other way to recover it” why would I pay you?

@AOL what’s me to PAY to recover my password because I can’t get into my email. PAY TO HAVE AN EMAIL IVE HAD FOR 20 YEARS BECAUSE I NEED TO RESET MY PASSWORD. What ******** is wrong with companies these days.

I'm on with @verizonfios chat support.. what a joke. They tell me their top of the line router will degrade significantly after 20 ft. on 5g and 25 ft after 2.4g.. I feel like I'm dialing up on a modem to AOL. Router cannot even cover a cottage that is 50ft long and 28 ft wide.

On god never get @comcast, @Xfinity, anything. Never. The more I’ve tried to get my internet fixed, the worse it gets. Dial up AOL is currently faster and i wish that was an exaggeration. Currently waiting TEN MINUTES to download a 10MB video lmfao

I'm just surprised Discovery was never acquired by any of the other big media conglomerates until the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Let's hope this goes well, unlike AOL Time Warner or AT&T WarnerMedia.

Lived my life online since 1987 with GEnie, then Internet & IRC in 1995 after leaving IBM Marketing, and found help & support through groups (one in particular) from then until the world found AOL, FB, TW and the rest. It is possible, recovery, when I want it as much as life.
