@TaelurAlexis Lots! I have 33 years of programming experience. I’ve worked for companies like WorPerfect and AOL, yet I’ve been forced to answer lame questions that I would be capable of solving (given time) in the real world. Knowing shit off the top of your head doesn’t mean you’re smart.

@mserinkelly I feel like 97’ was just the beginning of getting an email address and really using the internet for me. I definitely had an AOL account, but mostly used it to troll chat rooms and be a general nuisance. I was 10th grade at that point- peak time for bad decision making.

@SoraKingdomKey3 Damn you missed AOL? I didn't use it much as I was a little too young but it does feel like a fever dream. Was fully offline until I was around 16 as i've said before but there was this weird period around 7-12 where I was on AOL that just feels like it didn't happen, so odd.

Even as social media started to become a thing with MySpace, or even before that with AOL, I was told I was too young to know myself and to keep quiet. I regret listening to them, but because of Section 28 I had nobody to turn to for help, resources, or education.

Watching people scramble to make Bitcoin, Doge or Ethereum better is like someone trying to make AOL better. Why? We have Google. Also we have #XRP and soon to be #Flare. Just sell that worthless crap already. Lol.

@KateeForbis The worst is when someone goes “all your friends are from Twitter?” like all their friends weren’t from AOL chat rooms 20 years ago

@AlabellaInt @QuickBooks I commend you for trying to call. I use the aol type chat service... To have the chat end or the "representative" gives me another link to someone who can't help me. When you find better send referral link.
