Oh yes, and back in the waaaay old days (like 1994) internet services (or their closed-circuit predecessors like Prodigy, AOL, and Compuserve) charged BY THe HOUR for service. Think about how many people would stay off the internet if that were the truth today!

@danziggs1 @Deadlyslob That's the danger of using ancient email services with terrible servers lol. It's not on BSG sadly, it's aol/yahoo and it happens all the time with them and security codes. I used to work at ezpass and for like 2 months we couldn't send them codes either.

@Devan_Kaney I never use it but that’s messed up. During the instant msgr days I had a friend on AIM who would log in to check their AOL mail and I could tell they would suddenly go “invisible “. Don’t tech engineers have regular folk focus groups test this stuff out beforehand?

This post that I see over and over and over again about blaming TikTok for what happened today… Yes, if tiktok didn’t take down the posts about shooting, then they’re to blame too. But talk to your kids man!!! This reminds me of AOL chat rooms.

@BladesCrypto They don’t like when we call this game a rug pull. So instead, just call it a amoral cash grab. help cash grab, what misdirect marketing ploy or zero value partnership will you announce next to keep up the facade of progress? Now partnering with AOL…
