    Oh yes, and back in the waaaay old days (like 1994) internet services (or their closed-circuit predecessors like Prodigy, AOL, and Compuserve) charged BY THe HOUR for service. Think about how many people would stay off the internet if that were the truth today!

    @DevinCow I scored 2. Completely avoided MySpace; never had an AOL email address because only the brown-shoed squares did AOL, not us 1337 folks.

    @mmpadellan I also have 1 point. I've never had an AOL email address. I am shocked when I see someone still has an AOL email, especially when they have it listed on their business card or website.
