@atensnut Apple, Microsoft, and AOL stock. Later add Amazon, Yahoo, Tesla, Nvidia, Google, and Facebook. But, who needs to be the richest person in the world? You would have to associate with some of the worst people that you don't even like. Who needs that headache?

@sizzle_sarah "AOL will never ask for your password or billing information."

@disturbed13 Same score for me. No AOL address. Even though I've sent faxes, I've never done it myself. Usually the school secretary does it for me. Never had a waterbed, but I tried out my uncle's while house sitting.

@KobeissiLetter The merger is widely regarded as the worst in corporate history — a case where inflated dot-com valuations, cultural arrogance, and poor integration planning destroyed hundreds of billions in value in just a few years. -AOL Time Warner. $GME, Buy $HELE instead.

Also so glad we didn’t have social media (MySpace aside by like senior year) when I was in HS. Chatting **** on AOL was bad enough but at least it was private.

@Matt_Pinner Never had an AOL address.. not because of my age… just was not going in with the suckers… i actually had an original email address before the Internet blew up

@HankVenture5 @Xfinity When I tried to cancel my AOL acct decades ago the same thing happened. They refused to cancel it. I called my bank and told them to block AOL from charging me. The bank said they couldn't do it. I told them to cancel my card. That's when the bank resolved the issue for me.

@JamieMcullough @hamids @DeepIceValue I rode AOL from 1998-2000. I rode AAPL from 2010 to 2019. I rode NVDA from 2017 to 2026. I rode TSLA from 2019 to 2023. I honestly appreciate the advice, but I’m good. If the outlook starts to look bad, I will sell. I do not have a problem selling a stock if the thesis has changed. But, I won’t sell, just because a stock is up a lot. If I did that with my previous investments, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

@MensHumor I was born 82 and was right on the cusp. I had AOL in the mid 90s, napster in the late 90s then facebook and stuff but I never really did that
