i hate email. not just “too many emails,” email as a whole. i always have, ever since getting my first aol address as a child. no, not as a whole. i hate the UIs i’ve used, and email format conventions. i think it is a poor medium for many of the ways it is used. and ads.

@TimZynskisCabin @SecBlinken Dude. Your intel is like 30 years out of date. **** I can’t imagine this level of being out of the loop. Have you heard of the internet old man? Are you typing this on AOL?

@mato395 I'm thinking they were using Amazon or that online "Order Online & Pickup" service. But, with internet service being slow and dial-up AOL the only game in town, it must have taken forever.

@gaijinity Same here. Only one was never having an AOL e-mail address, and that's only because I always thought AOL sucked.

  • ThinkfloCodes
    Thinkflo (@ThinkfloCodes) reported

@gaijinity 1. Never had an AOL email.

@accelgors but it probably helps if the primary message you're giving to them is "if you use this device too much, it's going to stress you out. just be careful." instead of some rap about not giving out your address in AOL chatrooms or some **** like that

my dad was trying to think of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and said "AOL" and I'm never going to be able to say it properly again now
