@peregrinekate I never had an aol account but a boss of mine had one and he set me up with an email address under his account. I hardly used it, but the rule for these kind of purity tests is "all technicalities count," so there you are.

@JungKrystal AOL is just the company name like hotmail, gmail etc. AOL messenger was the original (for me) instant messaging service in the US anyway

@MikeHDnD 3 - never used a rotary phone, had a Bebo account instead of MySpace and whilst my mum and dad both had AOL accounts my first email was Hotmail in 2003
