@prattprattpratt #thetalk #Emailoverload. Part of the problem (at least 4 me) is when ur emails load into #gmail or #aol app on #smartphone it doesn't remove or sync them w server. This definitely needs fixed by companies #google n #verizon #fios

@phkeane @web @fromedome Wow! was internet access (and a small peice of CIS content) bulk of Compuserve was not included in Wow! package. 6 months later, AOL offered all it’s content for flat monthly fee. Also Wow! never really worked, and shut down as soon as AOL when to flat pricing.

Actually now that I think about it, a guy in his 60s with an AOL address has never worked for someone else, and never had to change it. Never had to worry about technology. And still pays $14.99 a month for email. This dude might be a billionaire

@randal_olson Not too surprising FB comes pre-installed on phones and as early as 2010 could be accessed without incurring data-plan charges. So in countries where internet service is expensive, FB was the equivalent of AOL.

@ClueHeywood I sell accounting software to lawyers. Last week I was creating an account for a lawyer, asked what his email address was, he replied with an AOL address...and I mentally added him to my "Lawyers To Never Hire" list.
