The Model Gamer (@TheModelGamerYT) reported@InAnOtterPlace To be fair, I only remember AOL from the 3.0 version. He may not be saying it right, but what I think he'd mean is it became mainstream when he was a teen. He's just too stupid to say it.
-
Bilge (@guruaskew) reported@RonDiesel12 @donovanmartin5 Heโs either gonna just upload it to YouTube or itโs gonna wind up on some streaming service you never heard of called Glorbo or something. Like a SEGA Dreamcast-exclusive streaming app where you have to use an AOL email address to log in.

โซ๏ธ (@quibbler) reported@JDelpine @RealDonKeith Until they shut down the service, AOL included a ton of general tools, including FTP and SSH proprietarily proxied through one port... that would line-item opened on almost any firewall because inevitably some executive had screamed that they couldn't connect to AOL from the LAN. It was like a golden walkway through perimeter security by going through the kids area.

DauntlessDonte (@TheEliteTweets) reportedI hope that bro break up with you via an email using an AOL account. I hope your socks stink and you have athletes foot. ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต (@TheNicSoapdish) reported@Wrestle_G @SkytelWrestling Wrestling Companies have boom and bust periods. You can normally ride them out if you have time and money. WCWโs problem was when the Time Warner merger happened with AOL they needed to reduce debt and the people there had no interest in wrestling being associated with them.

Grim (@rickgrim1973) reported@ParodyAEWmole This would make AEW look like WCW in the waning years after the AOL takeover. At first there will be a spike in ratings but then it will drop like rock when every single week Russo will be on stage or in the ring ripping the WWE in segment and after segment. Once the snowman unleashes this genie, it will never go away. If the bossman would even try to fire him, the rants against AEW will be epic. Does anyone remember that Spike and TNN both wanted Russo away from TNA. There is a reason for that. Be careful what you wish for bossman .....

perthiansmurfian (@perthiansmurf) reported@MamaPyou It became cool to hate on AOL because the anime took what could have been a massive, slow burn, grounded isekai story and fast-forwarded past all the world building and story development for some fancy cliff notes.

HowlingBunghole (@HowlingBunghole) reported@Periphery_Anon @SilverCyanide2 @lucendacier I am so sick of phone company jokes that I wish he never made a video. ComStar was not just "Space AT&T". ComStar was: Space New York Stock Exchange Space Cable Space Bank of America Space Chicago Commodity Exchange Space CNN Space AOL Space CIA That wacky group of Space wizards was single-handedly responsible for all interstellar trade, finance, communication, ect ect.

William (@William74424982) reported@abe112983 WCW was losing a lot of money. The AOL/Time Warner merger didn't help and they didn't want wrestling on their network, despite the numbers it still drew
