Whoever has taken an ‘AOL’ route into this heaven get off it immediately. There are no shortcuts. That is for you! Do social service the normal way. Do not remain misinformed. Puns aren’t intended to establish a new law of nature. You play GOD, you destroy the world.

@FPL_IBRAcadabra Hi bro, long time no see 😭 Hope you were fine when you went AOL 😌 I did put Shaw on the bench😩 Never expected him to score😢

  • meleyna Meleyna Nomura (@meleyna) reported

@aliciakennedy So I used to hang out in AOL teen forums 2000-ish and there were a lot of NY girls on there and this term got thrown around wildly and as a Japanese person from the suburbs I was so genuinely confused by it. Not sure at what point I figured it out. 🙃

  • faboomama Anika (@faboomama) reported

@ravenscimaven I was online in the 80s (local BBS) & early 90s. We used Prodigy which either gave a user or household about 3 hours of internet per day (IIRC), had email, and timer like a car wash. This was pre-AOL, which we thought of as internet for the masses; i.e., the worst idea ever.

  • ioweegian mark 🇺🇸 (@ioweegian) reported

@DaddyFiles @ravenscimaven It wasn't even "the internet" at first - it was AOL. Every service was proprietary & restricted to its own users. Gateways to the actual internet for the general, non-school, non-government, non-business users came later.

  • BrianRookard Brian Rookard (@BrianRookard) reported

@laurenboebert Huh, b/c there's no such thing as an all-in-one copier/fax/scanner for home use? BTW, if she meant that they can't get internet service that's flat out wrong. Dish, Hughes provide satellite service. And, believe it or not, AOL still provides dial up service. Kamala's a moron.

  • EmiMelker Emi Melker (@EmiMelker) reported

Why is the WiFi on planes so slow in 2021? Brings me back to days of AOL and dot matrix printers.

  • jhonthewolf2 jhon (@jhonthewolf2) reported

@Rockinbones2 @zithepilot Holy **** can I have some That appears to be AOL

  • Gurlywonder Gurly Wonder (@Gurlywonder) reported

Nothing like being spoken to by a Customer service agent for @Verizon @VZWSupport @InsideVerizon like I'm uneducated and dumb - love being a customer of such a caring company👎 I use to think AOL had the worst customer experience, yah nope 🙅🏻

  • Cryptoempressf CryptoΞmpress ♥ DeFi Degen♥ (@Cryptoempressf) reported

@PepeXBT so much more* I swear my grammr today sucks like AOL in 90s

  • VampWriterGRRL Robin D Ashe-Soldier’s Girl 🌈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🌙🔮📚⚰️🍷 (@VampWriterGRRL) reported

@MelitaWhite They used to send them to everyone for a free trial of AOL internet service. Everyone tossed them. We all had dial-up through the phone company.
