  • HUBBABUBBADOOP1 HUBBABUBBA DOOPYDOOP (@HUBBABUBBADOOP1) reported

@kristie_lauraaa Geez- WTF does my "name" count as? In the +10 years I've been "online" (not counting AT&T dial-up with CompuServe/AOL 1995) with this name- I've been told it's "cool", "coolest name on Internet", "stupid" and "unpronounceable" (?). It's a mix of nickname & old dog I had.

  • MartinAudley if (BTC.IsSoV) {Titanic.IsStoreOfPassengers=true}; (@MartinAudley) reported

@_ToneVays______ @CameronRuggles @derose Yep - network effect is important. It's contributing to Bitcoin's value today. But network effect can change. Kodak was once the go-to company for cameras. Everyone once knew to use an AOL CD to connect to the Internet, and Alta Vista to search it. Things change.

  • Zara21081 Zara2108 (@Zara21081) reported

@MartinSLewis I don’t have any phone lines for a while now. I pay £50 pm but it’s a gaming speed otherwise they have 2 other options and I believe if you go on contracts the cost is £20 and £30 ,not sure though!if i go on contract would be £45.Used to have AOL,TalkTalk,BT (never happy)!

  • LansSteel Lans Steel (@LansSteel) reported

@Mulletp0wer @buzzthefash @PatrickMahomes Don't take it the wrong way. I wasn't trying to disregard your feelings. I guess at my age I stopped caring what the haters have to say. All this social media preoccupation is tiresome. People have been the same way since they days of AOL chat rooms. It's never been right.

  • amyalkon Amy Alkon (@amyalkon) reported

@emmachammer So sorry to hear that. I hope you've gotten it handled. If you haven't, there are resources to help you, even if you are still with the person and not feeling like you can leave. Email me at my public address, adviceamy at aol if that is the case.

  • steadybloggin Ёжик в тумане (@steadybloggin) reported

My dad didn’t believe in AOL, so I had to use the free version of AIM messenger without a profile. Which was just like wearing bootleg sneakers (never having the cool brand name version of anything and getting roasted for it was a key part of my young immigrant experience.)

  • chairheadMD Lumby says #BlackLivesMatter (@chairheadMD) reported

@MorganPeteBrown Not food, but service: while working Geek Squad, I had an older guy say -and I quote- “My eBay is running slow, can you install more internets into my AOL?”

  • CAMarks1 Charles Marks (@CAMarks1) reported

@allyfarquhar @BTCare You should move away from Yahoo! for email and use Gmail or ANYTHING other than Yahoo! BT email will never work properly. Same goes for AOL!
