@AumonierJohn @WalshFreedom I really can’t get over just how ******* dumb of a statement this is. I’ve been using social media since the AOL trial discs came in my gaming magazines, so I’ve read a lot of stupid comments, but this is hands down the absolute dumbest, most asinine comment I have ever read.

@Olloplays This is the worst haha. Doubly so when like a song samples in the noise or something. The discord noise of today is the AOL/AIM noise in Hellogoodbye's Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn of 2004 haha

@JulieMFaenza @Apolocalypses @BeecherDenys is "majority CSAM" as a result of that just displays a fundamental ignorance of how the platform works. Again, it's like saying "email" is a problem without identifying the providers that are hosting the material. Is it gmail? yahoo? aol? protonmail? etc.

@unitygames As a poor, starving college student, I played games on AOL, but they cost $3/hr, which I couldn't afford. A player I befriended in Gemstone III, ran an AOL channel. She offered me the ability to work on her channel in exchange for a comped (free) account. 1/
