all of this metaverse synergies talk reminds me of AOL Time Warner. it seemed like a good idea to merge a cable operator with an online news service. the integrations never came. WebTV wouldn't happen for another 20 years with AndroidTV and others...

@uncanny_eli i assumed it was supposed to seem kind of antiquated and fairy tale like; it doesn't work with the idea of Jude having this *completely* abject and emotionally isolated past if you put him in an environment where he might have known other children, gone to school, chatted on AOL

@jhomenuk @JackSillin @burgwx Technically we go back to the aol weather chat days. Maps were cool, but right in the middle of loading up the latest NGM run, the phone would ring, and it was always a long-distance, emergency-break call from MCI.
