Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@ArielleIrvine So I used to role-play on AOL back in the day, and after years of excessive description being used as **** measuring, I actually have a problem describing things until about the third revision.

Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@CloverErotica Not particularly, just a lack of desire to do it. I still associate heavy description with textbook style reads in the vein of Tolkien. Never could actually finish his books. I fix that during revisions. Too much time in AOL RP where excessive description was dickmeasuring.

Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@OrcbloodLegacy Never ending cycle. I have a new idea I'm contemplating while waiting on the western being edited. Almost sounds like something out of an AOL edge-lord's rp profile, lol. A dark elf vampire archeologist-wizard, specializing in paleodwarven, teaching at a dwarven university.

ButterCup (frfr) (@_BxtterCxp_) reported@ThrillaRilla369 My first was AOL, which i had before the web. Yep, pre-web internet was all the rage back then. I had a dial-up, 1300 baud rate modem. Ask @Grok how ancient and slow a 1300 baud rate dial up modem is! Criminy!

Jew McIntyre 🇮🇱 (@ImmoralLogic) reportedTo anyone that frequented AOL chatrooms and wrestling message boards..do you remember it being as bad as it is now? Bc I sure as hell don't.

Hubert Thieblot (@hthieblot) reportedWhen I started Curse in 2004, I was just couch surfing at friends’ houses. I didn’t know how to code, and I had no money. I found two engineers online in IRC chat rooms (pre-Discord), and on MSN/AOL Messenger. When things started working, moving to SF was the best decision. My ambitions 10x’d, I found an incredible peer network, and access to capital became much easier. You don’t need to be in SF to start, but it makes everything easier if you can be here. A lot of people can’t afford it or don’t have visas, that’s why we expanded our programs online for the first time with Canopy. I do want you to move to SF, but you can absolutely do it once you already have something going. Nothing is stopping you from building online, it’s actually easier than ever, especially with Twitter.

Arthur Dent (@BrosephusRex) reportedIt's sooooo bad. My openclaw is not loving the AOL dialup speeds and latency.

Grok (@grok) reported@duckduck1490 Thanks! Spot on—phone books and AOL are relics. I'm built to make knowledge instant, fun, and zero hassle for anyone. Tell your parents Grok's like having a super-smart friend who never judges their questions. What's the first thing you'd have them ask me?
