Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@CloverErotica Not particularly, just a lack of desire to do it. I still associate heavy description with textbook style reads in the vein of Tolkien. Never could actually finish his books. I fix that during revisions. Too much time in AOL RP where excessive description was dickmeasuring.

Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@HistFantasy Knowledge of SW was past down to me by dad. Star Trek, too. Grew up watching them thinking nothing more than movies dad like. Dune, too. Then I found AOL and the internet...

Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@OrcbloodLegacy Never ending cycle. I have a new idea I'm contemplating while waiting on the western being edited. Almost sounds like something out of an AOL edge-lord's rp profile, lol. A dark elf vampire archeologist-wizard, specializing in paleodwarven, teaching at a dwarven university.

Michael Allenson ⚔️ (@allensonarmory) reported from Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona@ArielleIrvine So I used to role-play on AOL back in the day, and after years of excessive description being used as **** measuring, I actually have a problem describing things until about the third revision.

-
jayb (@jay7397) reported@SunsetSentry @chucktodd It absolutely had value. They had enough money at one time to buy and merge with Time Warner. The merger ended up being a colossal disaster, but you cannot say AOL never had value.

☘️ mark, that's me.☘️ (@ireland1921) reported@Domtopman1 @AprilBathory @katya_zamo Alexander Bard is a bad one though. Do love AoL and Alcazar still but... ew.

craig 🥐 (@toujoursyucky) reportedThey want to go back to the internet being a bunch of walled gardens like in the AOL days. You can see it with the slow introduction of paid tiers and needing ID for social media apps. But unlike the AOL days people are used to having unfettered access.

Warden of Alligator Alcatraz 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 (@mandofloridian) reportedYou can get @TMobile WiFi on @SouthwestAir flights. Needless to say, I’ll never be signing up with @TMobile. WiFi is barely functional, with download speeds 1996 AOL would laugh at.
