  The amount of spam @gmail is letting in is ridiculous. Whoever is marketing and sending to a (clearly fake) @AOL.com address is beating their spam filter left and right. Piss poor job @Google i expected better from a service that can machine learn who I regularly speak to & about

  @Xandara The chat rooms! And then getting a long distance charge on our phone bill cause the dial up numbers for AOL weren’t free for our area, even though they were the same area code and pre-fix for phone numbers that weren’t long distance………….

  @49ersSFGiants1 Yeah you ain’t wrong there. Never really messed with AOL. I was on but didn’t care for it. Only talked to people I knew from school and stuff.

  @cypherluscious 6 points! Some things weren't a thing in my home country, like boombox, aol or myspace. I used a diskette, but I think floppy disk is another thing? Also, never used a rotary phone or listened music on vinyl 🫠

  @TerraMcBass Never used a Walkman or boombox, sent a postcard, never had an encyclopedia. Although I guess when I lived with my grandparents they had an encyclopedia set but I never touched them lmao. How did you escape the hell of AOL?

  Now that like half of all Ubers are Teslas, I fully understand that it's a big screen with some glued plastic car **** housing it. It's a monitor and garbage desktop tech. The AOL vehicle for those with a death wish.
