@PaulRiz504 @sama This a dumb take. Tech has a trajectory that can’t be stopped, good or bad. How the hell does it take away anything from STEM? Such a boomer, get off my lawn and still using AOL comment.

@electroboyusa AOL got me started on the internet back in 1995!! They were the ****!!!

  • robdaemon Rob (@robdaemon) reported

@ShortFormErnie Given the history of AOL and their dubious customer service practices (like, it was near impossible to cancel), none of this surprises me. Culture like that starts at the top.

  • terryjanas テリー 🇺🇸 (@terryjanas) reported

@DonaldBergin2 I remember downloading warez via receiving dozens of AOL email attachments (pkzip/rar broken up into 1MB chunks) back in the late 1990s. And then using 3rd party download managers to handle those “big” downloads over web browsers.

  • RebelRabbi Rebel Rabbi (@RebelRabbi) reported from Charlotte, North Carolina

I just got an an email offering me a World Class Web Design Solution and it was sent from an @AOL email address 🤭😵‍💫 #irony

  • Bobcat_fan10 Assistant Coach Christophilofogus PhD (@Bobcat_fan10) reported

@Diana_Sue I was before.. Also if I recall, AOL instant messenger.. It was a long distance relationship, I was stupid and somewhat young

  • wgmicrypto WGMI Crypto (@wgmicrypto) reported

@binance @ethereum Its never going to happen. Vitalik and his whale buddies get too much profit from milking everyone with gas fees. Even if 2.0 happens, superior blockchains to 2.0 exist today, cheaper gas and faster than even what 2.0 is proposed. Eth = AOL It will be replaced and set aside

  • DroidNChill Sunshine is the best desinfectant (@DroidNChill) reported

@electroboyusa Yup. Pretty much. Once you switch to gmail or something, AOL will lose its only customer and will cease to exist.

  • ReciprocalValue Mark Howard (@ReciprocalValue) reported

@project250184 @ebuss_ebsports @JobberNationTV They never needed to recover. Yall don't realize WCW would have remained if it wasn't for AOL. WCW was still a highly rated program.
