AOL is doing it again. When I was a teacher for 40 years, the children read from their books with little distraction. I tried to read about the Life of Charles Dickens and I couldn't because I was hit WITH COMMERCIALS from all sides. HELP!

@PolitiBunny @seanmdav All the time. I've had an internet account since AOL was distributed on floppy discs. My Googlefoo is pretty good and I can't find crap on twitter even with advanced search. Searching for my own tweets, when I know exactly what was typed, often comes up blank.

@AOLSupportHelp I cannot get in touch with AOL via email and there is no phone support! I have had an email which is unlike any previous from AOL telling me to update re access after 20 April. Is it genuine?

Comparing Coinbase’s success to AOL rather than Netscape is interesting. Earlier this year coinbase froze $40k of mine because of a $1k failed transfer. Initially wouldn’t unfreeze because my DL was expired (which I couldn’t fix b/c covid). Isn’t that what crypto was gonna fix?
