  • w00t John Vantine (@w00t) reported from Oakland, California

@mygiantrobot DMX - Ruff Ryders Anthem. Pre-Napster, there were private chat rooms on AOL where people would “serve” MP3s. So painfully slow on a 14.4 kbit/s dial-up connection. Simpler times!

  • airgups23 Shiv (@airgups23) reported from Lafayette, California

@AdtechGod 3 reasons I'm right: 1. The #s are going down. 2. FB has never shown they can innovate, all 'innovation' has come through acq. Gov't won't let them acq anymore. 3. Sheryl is gone and and Mark is ET. 4. Metaverse is too far away. In 2000 no one thought AOL could fail either.

@digital_slime @LPTexas @jlakely The Court agrees. It is undisputed that the Blumenthal story was written by Drudge without any substantive or editorial involvement by AOL. Drudge Decl. II śś46-47. AOL was nothing more than a provider of an interactive computer service on which the Drudge Report was carried,

  • GinyuTv Hindian (@GinyuTv) reported

@PaulLivo Don't feel bad you didn't know, some of us rp'd back in the aol chat room days, you just aren't a little nerd like me lmfao I actually was never able to play gta online. You gotta have pretty decent internet for it go allow you to connect.

  • theomn Owen Nelson (@theomn) reported

If you thinking Yahoo Answers was bad, get a load of the advice I got from AOL Chatrooms.

  • TheBrofucius Brofucius: The Meanie Head. (@TheBrofucius) reported

@TheMicheleWojo Kids today do know the struggle of trying to get on AOL and hearing the modem.....Then.....Goodbye. DAMN IT!

  • thekeifer1 Keifer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (@thekeifer1) reported

@OliviaAnko @TrondyNewman They did it to TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, the movies, and now DIS, Picard, and Lower Decks. I’m aging myself but I remember the AOL message boards trashing DS9 and VOY. I thought then and still think now “they’re putting out some really good work to entertain us. Where’s the bad?”

  • 23cmnails Black EconoLodge (@23cmnails) reported

@banalplay Glad that when I was 14 I had to go to great lengths to publish a fanzine of my terrible opinions and bomb recipes, I couldn't just turn on my AOL and go to computer dot com to do so I mean technically I probably could have but was too much of an elitist for that

  • janyss Janyss (@janyss) reported

@vanillaice I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with an aol account. Been getting heat for it for awhile, glad this #ice could cool it down

  • mobinas SJW (@mobinas) reported

@_amitbehere You use FB? I am shocked! Do you use AOL too? LOL... Bad old days. Can anybody erase the memories of sounds 56k modem made trying to connect?

  • lilpickle711 Lil ⚡️ (@lilpickle711) reported

Neither your phone nor digital customer service has even tried to offer any sort of solution. Not even temporary access which I know other email providers would happily offer. @AOLSupportHelp @AOL

  • jknmike Michael Rodriguez (@jknmike) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Then why bother having me create sequirity questions if I never be able to reactivate it? All this has done is completely lock me out of another account.
