@MsCryptomom1 Hi @MsCryptomom1 you earned my respect on #luna write up thank you. Can you give your view on why #btc will survive long term? I’m struggling with the use case, mining model, gas fees, and energy consumption. All ads up to be bad coin to me. I view it as the @AOL of the internet

Somehow, Musk's now-"on hold" attempt to acquire Twitter reminds me of Time Warner's ultimately disappointing acquisition of AOL a quarter-century ago. Trying to remind myself of who Time was, who Warner was, and who AOL was, though all 3 brands still exist. People gave a crap?

@olli876 @fvnnyturkishman ability to enforce existing norms. AOL followed with their Usenet gateway service in March 1994,[3] leading to a constant stream of new users. Hence, from the early Usenet point of view, the influx of new users in September 1993 never ended.

@AubryAndrews Qt…please tell me we aren’t still using that for “cutie”…someone reassure me, please. It was terrible in the AOL and ICQ days, and not much has changed. I also do not like the angle of his head. He’s sizing them up for a skin suit, no doubt.

@Tsalazar1987 @Panthers The best was having to call customer support. Log out of AOL to free up line for phone call. Hang up phone call to get on-line to try what customer support just told you. REPEAT.
