@DickTugging Sorry but this fake internet drama is beyond absurdly ridiculous. This **** is starting to feel like a goddamn AOL chatroom. I don’t care who is involved- no one is famous, no one is that important, no one is solving world peace. STFU buy and hold 🙄

when i was a small child i was very excited to have an AOL email account to email my aunt but if i knew at a certain point i would get email all day everyday for the rest of my life and even afterwards, i would have never done so

@AP They went all the way back to 1998, when Windows 95 & AOL dial up was all the rage, to cancel this guy? Wow!

@getrawmilk @paulfunpants Reminds me of when AOL censored "breast." It killed access to articles about newborn care, cancer, and chicken recipes. So stupid.

@Talascend AOL email addresses are the worst but the author should have added that the email address should also be professional. Some of the things we see are laughable!!

  • Insolent_Puppy Insolent Puppy (@Insolent_Puppy) reported

@ozzyunc @PoodleSnarf He would never survive the dial up connections and influx of AOL and CompuServe CDs that flooded his mailbox.

  • Schnapple Schnapple (@Schnapple) reported

@technosucks @AOL Better question: does AOL exist anymore? Like, the dial-up service with its own dedicated app. Or without the app.

  • thomasknoll Thomas Knoll (@thomasknoll) reported

@DavidSpinks Where do you get your hats? What do you miss about The Well? Who broke your mind open? Do you miss Seesmic too? What if AOL had never been invented? What does no one else know about Craig?

  • LarryRosenthal Larry Rosenthal (@LarryRosenthal) reported

@zaphodgjd @AndreElijah VRMLS problem wasnt finding usage . it was Flash and then SGIs. you cant introduce two disruptive medias at the same time one 2d and another 3d. especially if the tool sets arent combined. thats the direct word from those launching the first mass AOL website in 1996
