when i was a small child i was very excited to have an AOL email account to email my aunt but if i knew at a certain point i would get email all day everyday for the rest of my life and even afterwards, i would have never done so

@getrawmilk @paulfunpants Reminds me of when AOL censored "breast." It killed access to articles about newborn care, cancer, and chicken recipes. So stupid.

@zaphodgjd @AndreElijah VRMLS problem wasnt finding usage . it was Flash and then SGIs. you cant introduce two disruptive medias at the same time one 2d and another 3d. especially if the tool sets arent combined. thats the direct word from those launching the first mass AOL website in 1996
