@harrypujols That wasn't Messenger, it was just AOL chatroom, which did exist in 1994. But I believe it didn't support colors either, which means they are using 2.0. And, that didn't have the "user typing" message indicator. Definitely not a huge deal, but yeah, incorrect on multiple counts!

@bassarisque My brother, the supposed computer genius, managed to get viruses and I'd have to clean it up. Was often not the worst back then. This was aol file share stuff.
