@kevinandbean my brother had AOL and when he died in 2006, I contacted them to cancel. The ******* with AOL kept to his script they use to prevent canceling about how my brother may need access in future to HIS email. I was so angry by time I finally got off the phone.

@AOLSupportHelp Thanks for your reply. Problem is my wife has already spent time on the phone with that department. Their bottom line seems to be anyone with access to an account can change the password and no one else with an equal right to access can do anything about it. What's our next move?

@RozaRebelRouser I haven't used AOL since the 90's. They couldn't provide service for three months but still charged customers. They used our money to help them grow. Their Technical Support said "I'm sorry m'aam but I don't have the luxury of having the internet". WTAF? AOL: America Offline

@AOLSupportHelp My wife's late mother had an AOL account. A relative has recently hijacked the account and changed the password, preventing my wife from accessing the account. All efforts she has made with customer service to prove her legitimacy have failed. Can you assist?
