@kevinandbean my brother had AOL and when he died in 2006, I contacted them to cancel. The ******* with AOL kept to his script they use to prevent canceling about how my brother may need access in future to HIS email. I was so angry by time I finally got off the phone.

@RoganX4 @Known_Edward Me trying to run Mosaic to browse the web thru my AOL account was bad haha.

  • 3JoursDuHaxxor Stadaconé Patriot 🇺🇸 ⚜️ (@3JoursDuHaxxor) reported

@SeanUSMCSDI69 All the email services scour your email for data mining purposes. But Yahoo and Aol are the worst offenders - they use a company called Oath which I believe is owned by Verizon and they really grab everything from shipping labels to doctor appointments.

  • cap_midnite captainmidnight- chocolate (@cap_midnite) reported

The earliest example of a virtual world mmo i found is from 1986, and it was called habitat and it was by LucasArts for the online Service quantum link, which was a predecessor to AOL

  • LifeWithJohn Inspiration by John 🎄❄️ (@LifeWithJohn) reported

@ArlenaRio I have an AOL service. I marked the mail as spam. Then they gave me the option to unsubscribe. Each service is probably different. Good luck!

  • NerdGirl2021 NerdGirl2021 (@NerdGirl2021) reported

@SgtJames13 I would do that if it weren't linked to my paystubs and personal benefit info. I *have* to have access to them. But I used an old throwaway AOL email, at least. None of their damn business what my actual, personal email is.

  • NickNevern Nick Nevern (@NickNevern) reported

@TeamYouTube It’s an aol email I’m trying to sign in with… shows you how old we’re talking here haha

  • RoganX4 RoganX.eth (@RoganX4) reported

@SnarkMaster3000 @Known_Edward Winsock wasn't bad. Windows 3.1 was the problem. Early ISPs charging so 🤬 much for a 56k connection was bad. Free coasters from AOL was nice. I even made a few windchimes!

  • nomorenetzeros No More Net Zeros - Success Starts Now (@nomorenetzeros) reported

@GoodmanSol13 Probably should've used a capital 'L' here. An upper case 'i' is the same character as a lower case 'L', when displayed. You'll never read this the same anymore, once you see it! I used to mess with friends in chatrooms, by building clone AOL accounts, using this!

  • RINewsToday RINewsToday (@RINewsToday) reported

@CTCT_API Mail recipients in Outlook don't see our photos unless we change each individual link to eliminate the "s" in link - now GMail recipients don't see the copy - but do see the photos. AOL recipients are fine - HELP!

  • FiveGrover Grover.Five (@FiveGrover) reported

@wendydavis 700 of us died. He didn't even call out the Guard to help, conduct wellness checks Ted Cruz went to CanCun. BETO and AOL came and helped, on the ground.
