@kevinandbean my brother had AOL and when he died in 2006, I contacted them to cancel. The ******* with AOL kept to his script they use to prevent canceling about how my brother may need access in future to HIS email. I was so angry by time I finally got off the phone.

  • closer2fine 🦋 Kel Fitzgerald 💋 (@closer2fine) reported

The most unrealistic thing about You’ve Got Mail is that she doesn’t get a single busy signal when she tries to connect to AOL. as someone who lived in nyc in the 90s, this is shocking.

  • SquidwardMurdoc Squidward Murdoc (@SquidwardMurdoc) reported

@MicahPW20 @VitalikButerin @VitalikButerin is a complete tool. I would never invest in his ponzi scheme crypto. ETH is like AOL was pre the internet boom. Will soon be forgotten about. He and many others have done some sketchy **** with the market to advance themselves unfairly. Justice will be served!

  • HeyJonBray Jon Bray (@HeyJonBray) reported

@jerralcarlsen @RyanSAdams AOL was not read-only. It was a runtime environment for a network stack of first-generation internet applications. Ethereum is a runtime environment for a network stack of first-generation distributed applications. People keep saying AOL because it's an apt metaphor.

  • EvanUnoArt Evan Uno, the artist formerly unknown as 6bq9 (@EvanUnoArt) reported

@buddy_runyan That was when Metro Fiber Systems was acquired by Worldcom and took them both down in bankruptcy. Also, AOL faked ad revenue and inflated their stock price enough to take over Time-Warner around that time

  • bindingrod 🎀Dani Kandi🎀 🏳️‍🌈 (@bindingrod) reported

By the way, I should start being able to cover re-AOL on my Twitch streams Wednesday mornings (not this coming one, it looks like, scheduling conflict) from 8-10AM as long as Bub is cool. Bub might help. He just needs to be in a good mood at the time, of course.

  • RagetheMudkip RagetheMudkip (@RagetheMudkip) reported

Ubisoft does some weird **** man. I can't get a google authenticator code for my aol account duh

  • techsplanations Look To The Stars (@techsplanations) reported

@zrlk23 @VitalikButerin @KlimaDAO Oh well that's why there is that project. Well what about that other problem. Well that's why there is this project. Well what about... *Infinity. No USE. It's been 10 years now. Look at how things advanced in 10 years with Microprocessor. Or Mobile phones. Or AOL & modems even.

@thefatbitcoin2 Wow! I had no idea how threatened wannabe btc maxis are over #CardanoADA. You guys are desperate to be relevant. Maybe start a self help group with AOL and MySpace investors.

  • cryptic_cyak Cyak (@cryptic_cyak) reported

@TheBullClubNFT I can’t for the life of me fathom why anyone would go to that network… horrible track record; this week was even worse too. That being said I do wish ya guys the best. Solana reminds me of AOL internet.
