@kevinandbean my brother had AOL and when he died in 2006, I contacted them to cancel. The ******* with AOL kept to his script they use to prevent canceling about how my brother may need access in future to HIS email. I was so angry by time I finally got off the phone.

@LawrenceLepard But you can’t invest on the internet, you invest on companies that leverage the internet to provide a service. There are literally thousands of other cryptos (w/ similar or better tech). How do you know that #bitcoin is not AOL?

If an organization not monitor for IPv4 & IPv6 traffic, they will never realized they are looking customers, due to not supporting #IPv6. By the time they understand this shift, they will close. BBS users => AOL => Internet. Maybe, Twitter => Mastodon, Github =>? , Web1/2 => Web3

@wjmaggos @Twitter “The fedi is no more difficult than browsers in the age of AOL or podcasts.” That’s too difficult. You need the network effect to take off and it’s not going to unless it’s an app that takes three minutes and requires minimal on-boarding.

@DanLeach971 @KenKalDRW Well Dan, I was being nice. Might want to change your bio since you’re not a host at 97.1 The Ticket, you’re some dude that hosts random bet shows when your sizzle sticks bad. I don’t know AOL Online, but it took you a long time to dial up that response.

@Antoinerayner87 ReBoot is still my favorite series of all time. My handle is RbtMatrix, has been since the 90s, because "ReBoot_Matrix" was too long to work as an AOL screen name back in the day (had to be between 6 and 10 characters), and I've never outgrown it.

@RealJamesWoods Wow over 200k votes and never seen such a slanted poll. Corporate media will end up like AOL. AOL had many subscribers and was the leader in internet service. Could not keep their subscribers. Corporate media wont keep their viewers.
