@kevinandbean my brother had AOL and when he died in 2006, I contacted them to cancel. The ******* with AOL kept to his script they use to prevent canceling about how my brother may need access in future to HIS email. I was so angry by time I finally got off the phone.

@PRYBABA @elonmusk Either Mr. Musk did it purposely or not, yse. Idk I once worked tech at AOL, I home school. And I am a nerd of reading dictionaries. Plus, I did some teaching at schools. I never allowed the Urban Dictionary in my class. Where I mentioned the yse he might have gotten from.

  • necropaulis James Pond (@necropaulis) reported

@H5Services @TimRunsHisMouth Okay, then look it up through Bing, AOL or whatever search engine of choice you like. Or just keep being an idiot asking questions to another idiot on Twitter instead of looking it up yourself.

  • TeckieGirl TeckieGirl #morebluein2022 (she/her) ✊🏽😷💙🐶🍪 (@TeckieGirl) reported

@DCarlisleTX Bwhahaha I loved the words, you’ve got mail from AOL. Now it’s awful and unprofessional.

  • JC_Christian Gen JC Christian, Patriot, Expertise Expert (@JC_Christian) reported

One of the truckers thinks he has video of the spy, but is having a hard time "opening up my AOL network browser"

  • Moneyisevil93 Jerry Smith (@Moneyisevil93) reported

@jack I also disagree because AOL shut down anyone doing anything commercial in an attempt to monetize their keywords when they had far more central control over the internet than you see today. Today you can set up a YT or an IG etc.

  • bokmann bokmann (@bokmann) reported

@chantalmclaugh @jayquintana_jr @girdley In spring 1992 I was a beta tester of aol’s email gateway to the public internet. By Fall 1993 those of us who were around in the before-times referred to Fall of 1993 as ‘Eternal September’, because the influx of new users never stopped. 1996 is way too late.

  • robsterwarrior MrRobster (@robsterwarrior) reported

@aolmail … the bad actors are Chris Ike and Charles Honfoga of Benin or Lagos, who love sending me millions of dollars for just a small $75 upfront fee. Otherwise perhaps Will Smith, maybe Tom Cruise….

  • robsterwarrior MrRobster (@robsterwarrior) reported

@aolmail Back in 2002 I was using a Tumbleweed MMS content checker with a Checkpoint firewall. That had an American list of offensive words eg ‘************’, for detecting in incoming email. Your service can’t even block ‘elongation’ or ‘beneficiary’ 🤔😠

  • archpundit ArchPundit (@archpundit) reported

@JC_Christian AOL still has a network browser?

  • goodboy_invest Mitcℏell (@goodboy_invest) reported

@BTC_Archive @FrancisSuarez Really has slow with 3-4 transactions a sec who are you kidding? BTC is too slow, too expensive, too much energy consumption. BTC is 15 year old software. Do you still use AOL and dial up for your internet access?
