My new iPhone 12 won't let me past a pop-up that says I need to enter a password for my apple ID. But it's showing the Apple ID e-mail to be my first-ever e-mail, @ AOL. It won't let me change the e-mail to my latest ID. But when I go to settings, the ID is correct. Help?

I learned how to use a keyboard+ type growing up by using AOL #dialup #Internet service and used #instantmessaging in the dark 🤫🤫 Ain't nun these new generation kids born in the 2000s know about that (insert loud dial tone and random dials).. "YOU GOT MAIL" notifications

Dumb **** we used to do in high school.. Let's see.. what WASN'T dumb? I used to troll AOL chat rooms and troll guys on there. I had prank call Sundays. My first beer was a tequila. I drank so much I pissed myself. In my grandma's driveway.. Knock over garbage Fridays..

This cycle is just so similar to 2000 for me. I remember getting AOL CDs in the mail and dialing up. I remember Netscape. I remember the endless possibilities, and then it all came crashing down. Web 3.0 emerged from the rubble eventually, but it took a long time...

@SyllCity Technically I have used paper checks so could have been 1 but they were not mine, it was either it my folks giving me a check to pay for stuff. Never owned an AOL account
