@EverydayLake If I have this thought, I'm sure others have too. Just trying to help people get an edge. I can tell a lot about someone by what system they use and trust for email. For someone who is going to be working with me using modern apps, I don't trust an aol user has the skills.

  • robertpsmart bmxministry (@robertpsmart) reported from Camarillo, California

I’m noticing that somebody seems to be messing with my accounts on AOL, my accounts bounce back-and-forth for no reason they never did that before, that looks to me like there’s criminals messing with my AOL accounts may the Lord bless you and straighten you out. GOD RULES 🇺🇸❌37

  • EricProfits Eric Rosenberg (@EricProfits) reported from Ventura, California

If you have an aol, Hotmail, or Yahoo email address, I'll assume you're bad with technology. That's a no go. Gmail, Proton, or your own domain are better. While you're at it, your email should be your name. Not something silly you can't up with in middle school.

  • drbrain Eric Hodel (@drbrain) reported from Seattle, Washington

@srbaker Given the examples of XMPP and the AOL messenger protocol before it we all knew this was never going to work anyhow

  • KtunaxaAmerika Noa Kt 🇨🇺 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🇧🇪 (@KtunaxaAmerika) reported

@AliceFromQueens That’s what AOL did, and shareholders flipped out. There are a lot of stupid people out there.

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • BorrisInABox Patrick Perdue™ (@BorrisInABox) reported

The subject on a message from an email list: "Need help please have issues with connecting to 1999" In the appropriate context for this group, this makes sense. Generically, though, ... Well, let's talk about AOL, BonziBuddy, RealPlayer G2, and so much more...

  • xkot Xkot (@xkot) reported

@alanbush When I quit my $15/hr job as an operator (which was damn good for a 23 year old in 95) to go to AOL for $7/hr people said I was crazy. I told them our jobs would be automated away soon. They were out of their jobs before I moved on from supporting dial-up to cable modems.

  • jim1skier jcbj (@jim1skier) reported

@TrueFactsStated Oh no...too bad for him. AOL account fits with my mental image of him.

  • DenebolaZenFoto **** Ferguson (@DenebolaZenFoto) reported

Seems they use the media etc to entrap. Tech as well like the geek at AOL who got a network administrator job and was sending intranet links, not even normal AOL ones of **** foreign women that are gorgeous, that was not on any website.

  • JonWChristian Jon Christian (@JonWChristian) reported

The layout is not awful but it is dated. It's like internet circa 2008. It looks okay, but could be improved. Functionality it's like AOL from those free CDs in the 1990s.

  • LordEyepatch Lord Eyepatch (@LordEyepatch) reported

@FictionPress Still no response about yahoo and AOL notifications being down since I’m not getting any emails at all and it’s been a couple of days without a message.
