@EverydayLake If I have this thought, I'm sure others have too. Just trying to help people get an edge. I can tell a lot about someone by what system they use and trust for email. For someone who is going to be working with me using modern apps, I don't trust an aol user has the skills.

I’m noticing that somebody seems to be messing with my accounts on AOL, my accounts bounce back-and-forth for no reason they never did that before, that looks to me like there’s criminals messing with my AOL accounts may the Lord bless you and straighten you out. GOD RULES 🇺🇸❌37

If you have an aol, Hotmail, or Yahoo email address, I'll assume you're bad with technology. That's a no go. Gmail, Proton, or your own domain are better. While you're at it, your email should be your name. Not something silly you can't up with in middle school.

@TJLarkin23 I mean, you never know who will be the "AOL" who gets everyone in web3 then paves the way for a "Google" to take over. But I'm impressed how ubiquitous ENS already is, even unknowingly. I'll say "ENS", people are confused, then I say ".eth names" and they know it.

  • HRERomanKingdom HRH Holy ↙️ (@HRERomanKingdom) reported

A lot just used to call India and say they're AOL US and get their support login information. Then go in as the administrator. If you got it blocked, they couldn't get in. It has no capabilities of being hacked. You call them yellow. They spit it right out. Especially new ones.

  • Janos_Hedgehog JanosX SL (@Janos_Hedgehog) reported

@soft "RSS" to me is a thing I never tried 20 years ago, and today it goes in same box as "AOL" "Winamp" the box of "what it is ? oh it's already off and outdated"

  • MichaelSMorgan6 Michael S. Morgan (@MichaelSMorgan6) reported

There used to be (e.g., on aol) something called "chat rooms," for specific topics. Everyone was visible, had a profile, and could make any comment anytime, but always visible to others in the room. The whole problem with social media now is private, targeted messaging.
