  • AdamEtchey Adam Etchey (@AdamEtchey) reported from Sammamish, Washington

    I once pretended to be a female with an AOL account around the time I wrote: "I want to meet the Aliens." "You never can tell about people can you?" ;; I want to meet my family, is my final conclusion. ;;

    @VictorJServin @benedictevans For this second one apple does bring a solution with Apple TV. All in one place. Plus now the new smart tv app will help. Content it just parallels what we have with services. You had AOL, now you have fb Twitter insta etc...

  • crtr0 Carter thinks #BlackLivesMatter (@crtr0) reported from Seattle, Washington

    @kirillzubovsky I never had an AOL email, I assume I'm on the BCC. This email should be triggering a dozen different hueristics.

    Anyway, we both used that AOL account until BellSouth started up its ISP service in the fall of 1996. The password wasn’t changed and the account was active until sometime in 1998 when the county finally did an audit and canceled it.

    @LegionD11 @TwitterSupport 😞 we can still see her Twitter. It’s not locked for us. If she has to start over we can help her get all her followers back. But it’s still stupid and wrong that they did that. I had an issue getting back in my account 4 years ago because it was under my aol.

  • psutommy02 Tom Rubritz (@psutommy02) reported

    I ask again today, when ******** is @aolmail @AOL going to get their ******* spam filters working again?!

    @BuddyDaDogg @jordanbpeterson @benshapiro ****...I've been on the interwebs for decades...had to practically sign a second mortgage to be able to afford AOL every month in the early 90s...and trust me...trans isn't going to be the main internet topic forever...the more it's forced, the more it's devalued...

  • Unicronisboss Unicron 2024 | Giving purpose to the World (@Unicronisboss) reported

    @annakachikyan Yes. But also because they are mean and bitter people. The issues go all the way back to AOL dial up days. Heck, even the crank yankers before the internet would do prank phone calls.

  • kaymstephens Karen Stephens (@kaymstephens) reported

    @AOL pls stop forcing aol gold subscription on users. You have removed spam filter options that now reside in that gold package so users are inundated with hundreds of spam per day in the hope we will pay for that service. This is abuse. @FTC

  • LillieStClair3 Lillie St. Clair (@LillieStClair3) reported

    @aolmail Good afternoon not sure if this is a dm in reply to the issue my mother in law is having remembering her password for her aol account. I am the person who is currently paying her aol account because she is starting to become forgetful.
