5. So I thought I was super cool back in the AOL days (friggen aging myself here) and made some weird mash up of my first and middle names. Turns out it is never taken on any social outlets. Kinda handy even tho everyone butchers it.

@SwiftHitter My dad legit emailed the 76ers in the early days of AOL/Prodigy letting them know that he’d like to be considered for their GM position. My dad had no experience in sports other than booing the crap out of people. Still a story we joke about today.

@dogscantwhistle The coverage was making me angry, so I stopped paying attention. Did they say, WHO dug up and spread almost aol-era emails? Most people do not want their "worst" emails/phone calls/texts from a decade ago on blast. Ridiculous.

The New York Times and woke cancel culture advocates wouldn’t be so brave if they found out tomorrow that Google/Yahoo/AOL/Microsoft or any of the other email services were going to leak emails they deemed offensive. But they’ll buy that one way ticket to cancel town until then.
