@tinkerbell1731 I started with AOL chatrooms downloading albums. It took days and God forbid anybody use the phone line. Morphed into Napster never limewire heard to many viruses and Trojan horses in files. Now i don't download anything. #freestreams

@AOL I just listened on a 20 minute call with Peter Arias at AOL support.. hacked account can’t be fixed for 90 days. No manager exists. No help offered. No solutions. Hacked account being actively used. #piinightmare #customerservice

@futureradiocast Yes, I know exactly what you're saying and like I said, I'm an advocate but I understand the many flaws. In technology terms, it's still the Amazon website circa 1997 and the Ethereum JVM is as slow and expensive as dialling up AOL was in the UK!

@benjaminwittes This was back in the day when you had online service providers such as Prodigy, AOL, Compuserve, etc... They provided access to the internet but it was very "clunky." The internet didn't take off until you actually had internet service providers.

@Chrisallini I remember using AOL a lil bit and tryna learn how to navigate it. Lol I remember thinking how complicated this **** was then I kinda gave in around 2009 and focused more on it. My only internet experience prior was Black Planet and briefly MySpace but that was corny lol

Hell, it was on AOL employee that killed Bischoff buying WCW by killing the TV deal. WCW did not die because of bad booking, bad TV ratings, or not creating new stars. It was killed by AOL
