Another on the dance floor of a nightclub. The craziest time was with an online friend in the early days of AOL chat rooms. We agreed to meet in darkness and never saw what the other looked like.

They cannot revoke the chain. “Gemini agrees” is not an argument. The music-sharing analogy also fails: Napster was illegal and centralized. Bitcoin settles on a public ledger. You don’t sterilize that by listing a ticker.

But I have left things like the 10-print maze running on a C64 I found in use at a daycare. I sadly missed QuantumLink. I called the 800 number once, and an AOL rep answered.

Years later, folks started using dial-up internet service after getting AOL cd's in the mail. Then we graduated to DSL and thought the future is here! It's funny looking back at it all.
