The Instagram models of today may get likes on their pics, but they’ll never know the flattery of entering the AOL chat room and having Caliboy69 and Bigcock4u1982 plug in their phone cords just to cyber with you.

@Adobe having to fight with support to cancel an unused license is disappointing. Been chatting for 30 min. Feels like try to cancel AOL in 1999.

@Manuel_Terrinha @Dexerto AOL (America Online) was a major early internet service provider, famous for dial-up access, "You've got mail" alerts, and CDs mailed to homes in the 90s. It's now part of Verizon and is ending its dial-up service on Sept 30 after 34 years.

F’ing on point! Our internet with them is so slow it reminds me of AOL when it first came out. Every time I complain they blame it on invisible employees working feverishly on invisible equipment, towers, whatever. We also can’t use internet for an hour twice a day: once when the high school across the street from us starts school and once when it lets out because of the 240 students on their phones!

For those using Yahoo/AOL mail, please read & save yourself the trouble I went through. 1. Update your #/backup email. 2. Change to a different company entirely. I switched to proton. They charged me $12.99 & over 2 hours of my time getting my email back. @YahooCare sucks…

@MikeDizzll It would be interesting if a bunch of former AOL dial up refugees were to buy Windows laptops from Verizon Prepaid and postpaid and end up far better off. The laptops are never locked as far as I know.

@nizzyabi You might will, but so far there is no emotion on another mail client/app. On gmail launch people used to pay for invite to use the service with extra storage vs what yahoo aol and hotmail offer.
