@cox_tom I decided to cancel my AOL subscription as it didn't work on my Mac. Did it during my work lunch hour. I held my nerve as they passed me on to many different people begging me to stay and offering me the world. 1&1/2 hrs later I succeeded. I had applause from work colleagues!

@Vanguard_Group Site down, unacceptable. Robotic answers without any ETA info, unacceptable. Trillion dollar company acting like AOL dial up circa 1990s. A joke.

@jack_upgraded @nomadcapitalist The proof of work system that bitcoin mining uses to get bitcoin out of the system is horse and buggy technology. It also leaves a massive carbon footprint and is terrible for the planet. Preaching only bitcoin is like preaching only AOL or Napster in the dot com era.

It's been years and I still can't find back the source that said that Yesung's username on AOL as a teen was a pun for "hard ****" but... I remember. And I will never forget. Yesung pls bring this story back, I need it for my sanity and confirmation that I didn't hallucinate this

@Jesse_Livermore The best story explaining the real effects problem is how the tech boom allowed for the AOL Time Warner merger. Not sure bugs bunny became any more productive when AOL bought his company with overpriced stock...

So my old facebook & AOL inmate @chamath just whipped the @*** of the CNBC guy. I'm on Chamath's side here. Shorting is BAD behavior. You don't build anything. You bet AGAINST a company. It should not be rewarded. I NEVER short. #wallstreet #trading #investors

@questlove I am old, yes, but born in 1976. I keep the AOL address because it's now my 'spam' account. I only use it for buying things and so it's full of garbage. I don't ever give it out to people though, so the point is moot.
