MoyraCosNutrition (@MoyraCosgrove) reportedDisappointing @BarclaysUK Cust Serv - didn’t know @MartinSLewis current account switch rewards & could not answer basic Q’s about the app. Questionable training? Hmm. Off putting for a potential switch customer (gone elsewhere)

Wisequack (@thewisequack) reported@BarclaysUKHelp @Barclays @BarclaysUK I know chat support via app is being reset . So why force neurodivergent folk to call.? There's a msg us option but autoresponse says call. Why can't my query be solved with text/email? This violates access rights re: Equality Act. Is this unreasonable?

Richard Ian Coates (@GringoPeruano) reportedHey @BarclaysUK Your web site says ~"Message us" to contact 'us'. Well, you may like to know that clicking on the button "Message" does nothing. As someone who used to work for a main bank in IT I find this unforgivable.

TΔFΔDZWΔ (@onezusky) reported4/7 through emails, phone calls, socials… and never received any response… only automated "email acknowledged" type messages, nothing more. mark brimblecombe (@markbrimblecom1) reported@Barclays I’ve banked with @BarclaysUK since I was 15 — 43 years without ever being overdrawn or causing a problem. I recently received a notice that my account will be closed because I now currently live overseas. I still hold a British passport, pay UK bills, and plan to return home regularly , and intend to retire in the UK. I completely understand compliance rules, but this feels harsh after four decades of loyalty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this now common practice for British expats? Feels like loyalty no longer counts for much in modern banking.
