  • JJculvers JC (@JJculvers) reported

@LozzaFox Presumably @BarclaysUK would support us asking their staff at every interaction if they are a he or a she? Or indeed something in between. Perhaps this is how they want us to behave?

  • timffoyle Tim Foyle (@timffoyle) reported

@BarclaysUK Oh just piss off with your woke pronoun shite. If I had an account with you, I’d be shutting it down.

@BarclaysUK I see you took down the original version, of course you did, it was a bare faced piece of social engineering, your a bank not a subsidiary of Stonewall

@BarclaysUK Dear Barclays, As a customer for over 30 years, please don’t ever ask me if I would like to be called ‘they’. Many thanks.

@BarclaysUK Money wasted on this **** could have been used to offer your paying customers better interest rates on their mortgages.

  • truebeerbadger 🦡 (@truebeerbadger) reported

@BarclaysUK I have a feeling this ad didn’t have the desired affect. When will big companies learn that this sort of saccharine tripe just annoys people and stick to providing their service?

  • petiteJeanine Jeanine A***** (@petiteJeanine) reported

@BarclaysUK Shocking how you speak down to your customers. *shakes head in disbelief* I was a client a long time ago, but moved my mortgage and other accounts because of atrocious service from my branch at the time. I'm sort of annoyed that I therefore can't close any accounts in protest.

@BarclaysUK Tell you what is a big deal to most of your customers. Being able to get someone to talk to you quickly and resolve your issues when you call. Perhaps a focus on that because that is a big deal.
