Deer Designs www.Facebook.com/DeerDesignsuk (@DeerDesigns) reported@BarclaysUK @Barclays please change your treatment of newly bereaved elderly widows. My mum is bedbound with stage 4 COPD, oxygen dependent, partially blind and was utterly surprised to find my Dad had a joint account with her. But could she access it? Not without several...🧵

M (@KlaxonDelight) reportedAfter 70 years of banking with @BarclaysUK my elderly mum is moving her banking elsewhere. She’s fed up being in floods of tears trying to make telephone banking work. As a bank you are a disgrace. I don’t believe you are much worse than the other showers of **** but here we are.

Neill Boatman (@boatman_neill) reportedSimply astounds me that a corporation as big as @Barclays @BarclaysUK can be so consistently poor when it comes to service. Had a 75k business loan approved over a week ago and still no documents. Our account manager was superb, only to be let down by inexplicable poor admin.

Muhammad Isa (@mohisah11) reported@wild_we_are @BarclaysUK They still won't let me access my account because i am in another country I'm not surprised after all they are accused of funding a genocide.
-
Richard Hughes (@f1blades) reported@BarclaysUK how do I contact yourselves as I cannot use the phone. The website says use the Barclays chat, this doesn't work as the app says Chat is not available. I just want to know when I will get the switch offer?

1618cc™/3 (@RomeoXrayBravo) reportedYou'd expect the scammers at @BarclaysUK / @Barclaycard to know when a customer logs into their account and cancels a direct debit, wouldn't you? Nope, their system delays it. So when you set a new one up the same day, the delay CANCELS your new one. Default payment attempt.

SpiritRetro (@ShinzuiRetro) reported@BarclaysUK i need help and for some reason i cna only do it via phone... which i cant do as my phones broken, PLEASE HELP ME

Justin Etheridge (@etheridge999) reported@BarclaysUK @BarclaysNews Board oversight matters. A titanium screw snapped after 8 months. I paid £2,000 under protest. @Barclaycard refuse my Section 75 claim using legally incorrect reasoning. Their own final response admits service failures. This deserves scrutiny.

mark brimblecombe (@markbrimblecom1) reported@Barclays I’ve banked with @BarclaysUK since I was 15 — 43 years without ever being overdrawn or causing a problem. I recently received a notice that my account will be closed because I now currently live overseas. I still hold a British passport, pay UK bills, and plan to return home regularly , and intend to retire in the UK. I completely understand compliance rules, but this feels harsh after four decades of loyalty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this now common practice for British expats? Feels like loyalty no longer counts for much in modern banking.

Tim Lewis @Stoneham Press (@StonehamPress) reported@BarclaysUK - There are many things that are good about your online service but the way it seems to forget the people I’ve recently paid is extremely annoying.
