@jonhoneyball @BarclaysUK I've been with Barclays since 1978 and always found them to be excellent. Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

With @Barclays @BarclaysUK shutting so many branches in rural areas, the sales/savings that result in a time the banks need to be available, I assume it will benefit account holders in some way? Also May be improve the phone line service also?

@mark_underwater @BarclaysUK How it works is simple. I bought my phone outright and didn't have to enter any agreement with anyone. My service is non contract and I can leave/switch whenever I like. Times have changed muchacho, you should try to get with them.

It cost £160 Its an Android it's also built like a brick **** house because it's designed to take a beating from people who participate in outdoor sports. You aren't going to get a phone like that on contract. I get one of the pay-as-you-go ...

@BarclaysUK After being with Barclays for over 25 years I have decided to leave. All the branches near me have closed down. I'll be going to one of the other banks that still give it's customers local branches that handle real money.
