Nope, their system delays it. So when you set a new one up the same day, the delay CANCELS your new one. Default payment attempt.

Anth3891 (@Anth_83) reported@EmmaLewell It's hard to believe the poor quality service @BarclaysUK is permitted to get away with, despite the profits that I think @IanLaveryMP recently drew attention to. I couldn't get the ATM to work but, hilariously, its Shields branch isn't staffed on a Saturday!

Top Gnu (@TopGnu) reported@BarclaysUK your app's broken. The Ts and Cs open automatically on login but then there's no button to dismiss them. So it's impossible to use the app at all. This is in iOS.

Shehzad (@ShehzadArsenal) reportedHad a bank account with @Barclays since I was 16. Today they rejected a payment to someone because they were satisfied. Guess what I’m a grown man. I won’t be held hostage by @BarclaysUK closing my account down!!!!!!
