Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

Chris Furneaux (@cfurneaux) reported@BarclaysUK Recent Barclays premier customer, as my credit card didn’t work I was forced to use my Barclays debit card for a hold on a deposit for 2 rental cars. Over £30 for the hold and then removal of the hold x 2. Over £120. Tell me why I would continue to bank with Barclays?

Nope, their system delays it. So when you set a new one up the same day, the delay CANCELS your new one. Default payment attempt.

So had to do all my direct debits manually to another new bank. They are using AI to track accounts and if you put cash in they say it’s money laundering. It’s all bull ****!
