@toontotown @BarclaysUK I just wanted to close down two children’s accounts we opened years ago when the kids where little. Streamlining up our finances etc. Try getting any bank to close an account.

Do not bother with @BarclaysUK you get abuse from their staff. They refuse to listen to you and tell you what to do. Theirs job “is not to help you and to listen to your problem and resolve it” quoted by fantastic Paul James. Plus the steak your money and lie to you

@BarclaysUK Just been charged £3.53 bank charges even though my account is in credit. Tried using the app and its impossible to make them understand. First of all they assumed I was referring to a Barclaycard charge and then they assumed I'd lost my card !!??

@BarclaysUK Absolutely useless, can’t register for online banking as old phone number listed. 20 mins on hold and various security questions answered before I actually get to speak to someone who says I must go into branch with passport or similar. Shocking service

It's literally impossible to order a replacement card for a business account with @BarclaysUK. The app says "technical issues" and the chat sends me to a number with endless menus and no humans.
