mark brimblecombe (@markbrimblecom1) reported@Barclays I’ve banked with @BarclaysUK since I was 15 — 43 years without ever being overdrawn or causing a problem. I recently received a notice that my account will be closed because I now currently live overseas. I still hold a British passport, pay UK bills, and plan to return home regularly , and intend to retire in the UK. I completely understand compliance rules, but this feels harsh after four decades of loyalty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this now common practice for British expats? Feels like loyalty no longer counts for much in modern banking.

Steve (@Wakey1234) reported@BarclaysUK Your service is the worst I have ever seen in my lifetime. Your advisors talk but don't do anything. Do any of your systems actually work. You are a disgrace to the Banking Industry and Humanity. I hope you go under. Hang your head in shame.

Andrew sutherland (@AndrewS5724) reportedWARNING: The @BarclaysUK Travel Pack is not fit for purpose. I'm currently stranded abroad in a legal emergency and the "Emergency Assistance" is non-existent. Paid for a service that leaves you vulnerable when you need it most. Avoid at all costs.

lukey1 (@lukey_hunt123) reported@BarclaysUK your service is absolutely appalling, you are driving my company bankrupt, how can you hold my money for “fraud” when HMRC released it! Joke! To add to the pain all the fraud staff seem to be on annual leave at the same time! Poor Reigate branch must be sick of us!
