Hey @BTCare (Catherine S is super helpful!) my elderly Dad has a landline through @TalkTalk & they are truly awful. Can I port his account/line & crucially his number to BT? He’s terminally ill and we cannot risk a number change as all family, hospitals & carers have it.

@bt_uk can you explain why my elderly parents have been left with no internet, phone line or any useful help from your techs apart from “wait until Monday”?

@bt_uk "We’re here to help." Is that why your man in "BT Loyalty" was rude to me after admitting that he couldn't explain one part of the 10% charge increase as it was "over his paygrade" then told me I "..should have read my contract better" then HUNG UP on me. !!!!

@PaulCowland_ @BTBusiness @btbusinesscare Are you using their supplied router? First thing I'd do is replace it with something more suitable. I use a Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine Pro behind my BT fttp service and have no issues getting full speed at 900Mb/110Mb then added some Unifi access points for wireless

@bt_uk No, and it says there are no plans to upgrade my address (I've been checking there regularly), but the connection is 10 feet from my door, and most neighbours on the street have an active FTTP service.

@bt_uk FTTP connection installed next to my house by Openreach nearly 3 months ago, neighbours been connected by other providers for a while, but I keep getting told it's not available. Been a BT customer for 15 years, is my only option now to move to another service provider?
