@bt_uk New hub in but broadband has cut out few times today engineer here earlier but with being a good day could not find anything help plz

15 days without broadband and now landline too. @OpenreachHelp engineers keep cancelling & claiming there is no issue and @bt_uk fail to take any responsibility for their failings. The lack of support and customer care is nothing short of disgraceful. @Ofcom

@bt_uk The way to avoid the costs is to a) keep your network running properly, b) communicate with customers accurately about when things go down (or in advance if planned) and not lie about it being fixed when it isn’t

@bt_uk You only have to inform people if there’s a chance they’ll get charged. Given the problem is at your end, it irked me a bit when I read that. That they potentially don’t turn up without warning just makes the whole thing a really bad customer experience.

@bt_uk When the messages we get when booking the visit warn us that we may be charged if we aren’t available when the engineer comes, to then cancel without telling us is rather unfair and rude. As if threatening to charge for a visit that’s caused by your network wasn’t bad enough!

@bt_uk Yeah, and she “couldn’t help” for whatever reason. A call at 10am would be ideal but a 2hr window is not suitable for someone who works.

@btcare According to the service status page, my broken broadband was reported at 09:45 today and yet it is only 09:10. So your service status page is a bit broken too. Just FYI.

So as my issues with @bt_uk are hopefully winding up (still no tv but hopeful!) am now in dispute with @JohnLewisRetail! Took £400 at the beginning of aug for a table they still have not delivered. No comm at all about delays. No promised callback on sun! 😩
