@EE I recently upgraded my contract to a 5G SIM only deal. I'm unsure whether I should be receiving an actual new SIM card in the post (5G enabled?) or my account has just been upgraded on the network side so I use the same SIM but get the 5G coverage?

@glossyprince @jayrayner1 @EE but that cost would then be for an extra service provided by them, so you'd then need a VAT invoice for the supply of a VAT invoice!

@BillyBoyWu @EE Did you have any issues with ordering it?

@CristieKoolBean @EE Go to accessories and all items, should be on the list two or three down

  • tweedsideladdie Simon Ritchie (@tweedsideladdie) reported

@EE Yeah I've already good a data booster box from you, so I can use my mobile, because there is no 4G signal where I live. However, that booster relies on the router and it's 1Mbps speed.

@EE congratulations on your commitment to excellent customer care which has had me go through 8 options to hold for 20+minutes and then cut me off.....genius!!! Absolutely shocking service and zero forum to actually get a response.....#kevinsaliar

@EE In London WC2R 1JA no 5G service only 4G as usual, phone calls drop and internet slow. No good. #EE

  • tweedsideladdie Simon Ritchie (@tweedsideladdie) reported

@EE Estimated download speed range given on your website is 1-5Mbps. Consistently in the 20th percentile. Every video call I do is interrupted by weak signal, despite signal boosters/cables (rather than WiFi). Can any discount be offered if service can't be improved?

  • Davebwfc21 Dave james (@Davebwfc21) reported

@EE @DavidBayley13 Same problem here aswell

  • Bodders84 Graham Boddy (@Bodders84) reported

After being with @EE for 20yrs when it was orange and then T-Mobile. Think it’s time for a change. 2 months worth of bills wrong and still no further forward with them to sort it all out. When your on hold for over an hour while they “investigate” is just poor service

  • tweedsideladdie Simon Ritchie (@tweedsideladdie) reported

@EE Ok well that's a shame, because I've been a customer of EE since 2010 (and Orange before that). I'm now looking at satellite broadband, which I'm told is expensive... Turns out it's the same monthly price I'm paying for 1Mbps 🙄
