I'm unsure whether I should be receiving an actual new SIM card in the post (5G enabled?) or my account has just been upgraded on the network side so I use the same SIM but get the 5G coverage?

Cettina norton (@norton_cettina) reported@EE your website and app are the worse I've ever used. Try upgrade website crashes. Try pay bill website crashes. Can never log onto app. Then I end up waiting 30 mins on the phone to speak to someone. This isn't just a one off its all the time. Fix it.
