    @YouAreAWally @right_far_right Never bought an avocado and we only have Freeview which I'm understanding will disappear soon. One thing I am though is clean, I make my own washing up liquid and washing liquid for clothes. Shower every day with soap and home made shampoo. So off with your stupid assumptions.

    @Selene_Mariposa The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to: watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky or Freeview) or watch TV live on any streaming service On any device. You can opt out n if you donโ€™t do the above. So it is not a tax for simply owning a TV

    @BENEFITS_NEWS I don't understand what switching off Freeview does, except I assume forces people to pay for everything? We have an Amazon Fredrick thing but the channels are apps. It's crap half the TV channels you can't even get on it. Freeview is better.

    @HisenseUK I bought a 55inch tv I had it for 23months all of a sudden I couldnโ€™t get all freeview stations after 4 calls I was told it was my Ariel now Iโ€™m left with a heap of crap.

    @cyclingontnt When are the highlight programmes available on HBO Max? I see them on freeview on DMAX at 7pm, but never available on HBO Max other than a 10 min compilation?It's not possible to get the DMAX show on catch up so it's quite poor compared to before moving to HBO.

    @mart_stead @SW18_67FC @johnrobinson07 It's not more saturated too, it's shot in a Full Range and de-converted down to Standard Range to fit in our poor freeview infrastructure, it makes red and yellows considerably crushed. That's why the Holland game looked the worse so far

    @inghamjj55 @TheMekon_Venus I pay towards many services out of my tax that I donโ€™t benefit from, but Iโ€™m ok doing it because it means others can benefit. Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2

    What happened last night? Mon aug 3? Freeview on band 4 uhf just stopped in the cm3 area. The tropo map was a bit messy, a d there was very little sporadic e showing. The blackout was total but it's all back now. Are you aware of any transmission failure? However a crucial Star Trek Enterprise episode on Sky mix at 11:00 p.m. failed to record, and retrieving it requires a Paramount subscription! @FreeviewAdvice
