Im not very happy with sky , wind knocked out dish so a week with no tv! Had to buy Freeview box , not happy. Don’t even start me on price hike or mobile issues and then there’s the broadband! Grrrrr

There have been multiple reports of issues with the Freeview multiplex carrying ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in standard definition. Different areas have been affected in different ways, but some services have been garbled/distorted,

@jsquires1990 @SkyHelpTeam ‘One cord’ went out the window as soon as the channel list was put online. Not all Freeview channels available… so an aerial would be needed. Awful product.

On 25th September, C4 had to abandon its usual regionalised distribution following the Red Bee Media incident. Since then, on Freeview, services have been running on lower bitrates. On satellite, fixed bitrates have been used. Both contributing to picture issues.

so according to the freeview website a majority of people will get the signal back on wednesday. Whether or not that includes yours truly is a matter of time.

@FreeviewAU Can you please stop the #Freeview info banner from popping up by itself every 5 minutes on my Sony Bravia X95G? Problem started this week after an update and it's starting to annoy me.

The incident originally resulted in a Freeview multiplex configuration glitch when E4 was broadcast in place of S4C in Wales. During the last 24 hours, ITV and Channel 5 have been glitching in some regions while other services on the multiplex were fine.
