@MisterVivian @cleanfeed_ttvr ...a pay TV service on UK DTT called Picnic. The idea was to use MPEG4 to fit in four channels in the space occupied by three MPEG2 channels. [MPEG2 in combination with DVB-T is still the standard used for most Freeview channels]

So much for the upgrade on signal from shiteview, the BBC channels (only channel we got after 'upgrade') aren't picking up a signal at all. Would be angry but given it's only BBC channels it's actually the small silver lining in the ongoing incompetentcy by #Freeview

...WARNING... @SkyHelpTeam got a new SkyQ box and multi room fitted yesterday afternoon, already it is not working! They claim this is the best technology ever, it's not, they just want your money. Stick with freeview people or go to an alternative supplier.

@virginmedia avoid this lot. Landline hardly ever works, Internet says its fast but there are lags that mean you can't hold a normal MSTeams meeting and more TV stations on Freeview. Also impossible to cancel since you have to sit waiting for useless AI to respond. Just say NO

@Webbo2306 I’ve sorted it. Didn’t pay for HD as most Freeview channels are already in HD. It’s just the Sky channels that you have to pay for and I don’t really watch them much. Works out I’m paying £15 a month extra on my internet, so not bad. 👍🏻

@ImagesZx It seems to rely on what the definition of live TV. If a live program is available on Freeview, Cable TV or Sky (or any related streaming service) then that requires a license. You need fire example a license to watch Sky News live on YouTube. (1/2)
