@tvlicensing the crap being shown on "Freeview" this Christmas, is being repeated on a DAILY basis! This is disgusting when a TV license is so expensive!!

@tvchrisstewart Yep, it's exploiting the sick to charge £7.90/hr for Freeview on very poor equipment. But don't blame Tories, blame New Labour. TV sets came in 2000 as part of PFI commitment to give all patients access to TV, as long as they paid. Patient power, they called it. Blair's a ****.

Anyone else noticed @FreeviewTV HD reception is exceptionally bad in London this morning? A bit of a lottery since the frequencies changed but I can usually rely on BBC1 and BBC2, fine last night, unwatchable this morning. #freeview

@ricardoautobahn Most things on That's TV are in the wrong aspect ratio. Some (un)lucky viewers can also find That's TV on channel 7 on Freeview where it is disguised as the 'local tv' service. Still worth a watch to see the Thames TV logo at the start of Benny Hill.

@RosStewart1 I agree. The equipment is so old I'm surprised it can still carry a signal, so the initial costs must have been recovered by now. What they're doing is selling Freeview.
