I have freeview so in order to get my football fix tonight i watched the rerun of last Sunday’s thrilling #mls encounter between la galaxy and Vancouver whitecaps. By god the standard is poor. But I love football so it was great.

I'm getting twitchy already... neighbours have scaffolding all around their house and its totally taken down our Sky signal. No TV. For at least four weeks. Even Freeview won't work. No Corrie. No Judge Judy. Nothing. #bereft #tvaddicted

@haroldthimbleby Some years back when we had broadband I thought I'd have a look at freeview via aerial to save money but couldn't get a signal. Then when weeding one day I found a coiled up coax cable where next door had been working on their gutters, cut the cable and just decided to hide it.

@MartinSLewis Yes but I also opt in for major sport in month units. Saved £100s dropping Sky full service. & dropping to single user Netflix. I choose FreeView mostly.

@itsnickelflysk3 @virginmedia Only problems we seem to have with Virgin is when lightning hits the signal box outside a causes a big outage Thankfully we still have Freeview otherwise will be doomed

@MartinSLewis We only started a paid service with disney+ 2 years ago. Last year we shared with my brother & sister (not allowed but not stopped yet!) so works out £91 per household. But me & my wife hardly watch anything so we'll be dropping out. Freeview is all we really watch & have a pvr

The @BBCiPlayer live stream is a solid 90 seconds behind the Freeview HD feed. Really expect better latency in 2022. And I'm on gigabit, no issues my end, stream starts instantly.
