Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JonNFarmer Jon (@JonNFarmer) reported

The sound quality on @GBNEWS is awful on Freeview

  • stevenlarkins KSL Consulting Ltd (@stevenlarkins) reported

@GBNEWS Please sort out the lip sync issues on Ch236 your Freeview Standard Definition service. Sound levels are also very low compared to BBC 1. These issues were very noticeable on your 6am breakfast show. I am viewing the Hannington Transmitter in N. Hampshire.

  • KrawiecRichard Richard Krawiec (@KrawiecRichard) reported

@GBNEWS Low sound and out of sync, dark (but better than yesterday), lowest resolution of any of the Freeview channels makes the viewing experience hard to enjoy.

  • robertc77438249 robert charles (@robertc77438249) reported

@LarraineWright1 i watch it on the internet, cant get it on freeview, my signal is ****, its on the freeview menu though,

  • k4bladesagain cheekfulloftongue🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@k4bladesagain) reported

@tomhfh @brixham1982 It needs to be on HD on freeview. The content is being ruined by poor sound and vision. I know its early but needs sorting.

  • DaveMor16686271 Dave Morrison (@DaveMor16686271) reported

@afneil I was looking forward to GB news but if you think I’m going watch a station with just sd picture on Freeview. If I’m not good enough for hd on Freeview I’m not bothering. Your picture quality is crap.

  • eddsirr Edd Sirr (@eddsirr) reported

Watched 5 minutes of @GBNEWS - god it’s awful. 5 minutes of ego boosting self gratification amongst the presenters and panel, 5 minutes of poorly cut clips and amateurish direction and camera work. What a waste of freeview space.

  • JackyCwiero Jacky Cwiero (@JackyCwiero) reported

@KEdge23 Obviously there are some technical issues, the sound for one is pretty diabolical (watching on Freeview 236) have to turn the TV volume right up.

  • Norfolk_Girly PartyGirl 💐 now-staying-indoors 🌼 (@Norfolk_Girly) reported

Turned off #GBNEWS due to syncing and terrible sound problems. Needs better set for breakfast and only 2 presenters. Tried on freeview and sky, both same problems.

  • banihwah Hugh P (@banihwah) reported

@gbnews Just a heads up, on Freeview your sound output is really low. If I hop between channels you are perhaps 25% down on the others.
