@JennALT_01angel Didn’t really used to watch Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! as an infant, since we had no cable. I was just a modern Freeview guy. But, we got our first cable company in 2010, Sky. It was amazing but the price was unbelievable. But, WHO GIVES A ****???

@GraceOnFootball I confess I had been exclusively using the free-to-air TV apps on my NOW TV box, until I realised that hanging my Freeview aerial on my drying rack relieved that issue.

@ShiregreenOwl @teresadg0 The online services are definitely a big contributor, I agree. But a dedicated 24 hr news service on Freeview is far more accessible for many, and that will have an impact

@RobintheBear @sixteennine If I may, Samsung DM75E's 450 nits seems a bit short for outdoor, should put it in a shaded area if possible. As for the Freeview signal it's standard HDMI1, HDMI2 and HDCP 1.4, it shouldn't cause any problem.

@virginmedia we contacted you yesterday to say our WiFi is down! You tell us you can’t get an engineer until Sat! It’s ridiculous! You owe us more then just money off our next bill! We have no tv as have no freeview and have to use our mobile data for that long is unacceptable!

  • BrexitFoxy The People's Foxy 🦊 (@BrexitFoxy) reported

@Sir_Woofingtons If you want to pay for it, shouldn't there be a choice enabling you to do so, but others not to do so? I don't see why they just don't go ad-funded on Freeview like every other network, with the option of subscription on iPlayer for ad-free catch-up and premium content.

  • veryoldbilly Bill Swan (@veryoldbilly) reported

@BBCMonitoring @Ofcom @Freeview To whom can one report TV reception problems? Freeview and Ofcom direct to the BBC’s site, which requires 15 minute completion of details before announcing that ‘there was a problem - please try again’. Repeatedly. No TV reception for 3 days

  • Omz2468 Omz2468 (@Omz2468) reported

@davidbicknell1 The little Englanders are about to have their own TV station in a few days time. Why aren't we all donating to someone such as @BylineTV (I am) ? Let's help get them on Freeview, even if it's only just a few hours per day initially

@ivorsawbottom This needs to be good, Ivor. I’m holding you personally responsible for the lousy Freeview TV signal, I’m getting from the transmitter, at Rowridge, on Paradise Island. It just won’t do, you know.
