Velvettoatone (@TeamMPTS1) reportedAnother stupid idea is the 2034 plan to turn off Freeview. In no way will rural broadband be up to providing reliable services by then..the same applies to FM/MW radio. It's ridiculous meanness dressed up as 'progress' @SarahChampionMP @KarlTurnerMP @lukeakehurst
-
Dave (@m1ctk) reported@cordbusters Hoping that the video resolution will be higher than the poor 544 x 576 on freeview at 720 x 576 at least
-
Tommy D (@TomDennison12) reported@FractalDoctor @DailyMail TV and radio is all that many elderly people have for comfort, especially living on their own with limited mobility, so yes, taking away Freeview is a bad idea. I doubt if too many 80 to 90 year olds have a fast broadband connection !

Mr. Rodi Kyriakou (@MrKyriakou) reported@AthleticsWeekly The games not on Freeview or free to air. Is it's demise. If this carries on. Major sporting events will die it's slow death. No one will bother that really matters 😔.
-
Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reportedFreeview channel 71 That's Memories & That's TV 3 & That's 20th Century That's Memories issued Freeview PSB2 operates agreement licence in June 2024. Has that ran out? If it has ran out That's Media has to pay Everyone TV Millions of pounds. Everyone TV who runs and maintained the service. The dark side of Everyone TV theses people who want to closedown Freeview altogether as soon as possible. Arqiva who repair Transmitters and maintained wants Freeview to continue.

Douglass_McFarnham (@douglassfarnham) reported@Steven59066 @BethUndressed They must have got taken down for showing ugly babes like tazmin_riley who simply don’t come close to the standards set by nice real babes like beth_bennett herself, which is totally unacceptable quality control for freeview itself,

Mr J.Baines (@Mrjbaines) reportedI hear that Live from The Apollo will end after its next run of shows. Shame that as I quite enjoyed it. The bbc say it’s down to low viewing figures and saving £. Problem is that the BBC allows multiple episodes to be repeated on Freeview/iplayer channels at regular intervals.

Michael McCartney (@MickeyMcCartney) reported@drummergirl2000 I know! No Food Network either (my fave!) signals for those channels on Council Telly (Freeview) must be v weak
-
LondonUnity (@londonA84648) reported@TheGriftReport There are millions of pensioners and older folks who do not have broadband, do not want broadband, would never manage with a new television / apps, and rely on their Freeview television service to stay connected to the outside world Switching off Freeview would effectively be an isolation/ death sentence for many of these people

Julie (@Julie2424355376) reported@YouAreAWally @right_far_right Never bought an avocado and we only have Freeview which I'm understanding will disappear soon. One thing I am though is clean, I make my own washing up liquid and washing liquid for clothes. Shower every day with soap and home made shampoo. So off with your stupid assumptions.
