@MaddFan1 Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I was quite happy watching @AJEnglish on Freeview and then suddenly it went on to freeview HD, which my box wasn't. My problem was finally solved when they started broadcasting live on Youtube.

@Philips @philips_uk @FreeviewTV @PhilipsCare I recently purchased a Philips Ambilight 55PUS8204/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Google Assistant does it support Freeview play as I can't get the apps to work.

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@pennylongstckng Can't watch mainstream TV any longer, it's just infested with woke, poisonous lies & drivel. Not good I appreciate but these days I either spend time channel hopping through Freeview or don't even bother to put the TV on. Forget Netflix etc, just the same mind controlling garbage

@OfficialCDJ Terrible news I remember coming home each day from school to plonk on CBBC, watching both you and Ian have some proper banter. The saddest thing is, as somebody who grew up poor couldn't afford streaming services or anything other than freeview TV.

@blujreviews I don't drink, I don't smoke, cook all my own food from basic ingredients, cut back on monthly payments (e.g basic phone package, only freeview TV). Savings mount up fast. Never spent money I didn't have - no credit.

@BBC just heard about your planned changes. Idiotic. Why move bbc3 to Freeview and then take away bbc4. I never watch bbc3 but very regularly watch bbc4. This is a summing down move. Not everyone has iPlayer on their TVs. Also moving 4extra to Sounds. We mainly listen in the car

@GaymerChat Yeah, I’m going to watch Stranger Things 4 then probably cancel. I’m tempted to cancel the package altogether and rely on Freeview and assorted streaming apps on the Apple TV. Maybe I’ll make a dent in my massive pile of unread books? (Spoiler: I will not…)
