@Philips @philips_uk @FreeviewTV I recently purchased a Philips Ambilight 55PUS8204/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Google Assistant does it support Freeview play as I can't get the apps to work.

@MaddFan1 Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I was quite happy watching @AJEnglish on Freeview and then suddenly it went on to freeview HD, which my box wasn't. My problem was finally solved when they started broadcasting live on Youtube.

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@graeme_from_IT @Ofcom Looks like events have overtaken themselves. With the EU banning the channel thus cutting off the Astra satellite uplink, it's down for Sky & Freesat viewers (and YouTube has blocked the channel for EU & UK viewers), and that disconnection appears to have also affected Freeview.

@Dez45346395 @alan_shaefer EU ban means Luxembourg based SES shut down their feed of RT. Sky and FreeSat receive their feed from SES, it's likely that Freeview received from the same source.

@PrisonPlanet In other news, RTs satellite link is in Europe & once cut can't be transmitted anywhere in Europe. *However* Freeview's signal does not come from there and we cut that all by ourselves ( probably something to do with sovereignty )

So RT has been taken down... "This service is currently not available" on Freeview.
