Stephen Meyer (@stephen_e_meyer) reported@joshstifter ALIEN. 12yo. HBO “Freeview”. We lived in rural town that got cable tv early and I don’t think my parents even knew what HBO was. Had nightmares for months but couldn’t tell anyone because it was rated R and I would get in trouble.
-
Gary Finney Zair (@finneyzair) reported@inghamjj55 @TheMekon_Venus I pay towards many services out of my tax that I don’t benefit from, but I’m ok doing it because it means others can benefit. Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2
-
Ken (@Ken63753831) reportedPlease sign before the deadline as BBC and labour are trying to pass a law to shut freeview down effecting millions of people forcing them to pay for unbiased news

Tom (@TomCushnie) reported@SW18_67FC @johnrobinson07 It's not more saturated too, it's shot in a Full Range and de-converted down to Limited Range to fit in our poor freeview infrastructure, it makes red and yellows considerably crushed. That's why the Holland game looked the worse so far

Marky Mark (@MarkyMark16700) reported@bmstewart2004 My mother had Sky since 1997, they kept hiking the price -nothing extra. She was paying £55 p/m for basic TV, most is free on Freeview. She cancelled. Suddenly they could slash the price. She said no — should’ve offered that before. Absolute con merchants. Never trust Sky.

Matt Quinn - The Caledonian Television Company. (@Matt_Q_OnX) reported@iggy1966 @BENEFITS_NEWS They don't really, Chris... However the 'Freely' service currently being touted to replace Freeview in about 15 years time IS a streamed service which WILL be available via set top boxes/inbuilt IP provision in TV sets and probably an 'App'.
