The #5g nonsense is awful. People setting fire to masts serving critical communications is madness. The frequency used in 5g has been redeployed from tv / freeview but still considerably lower power. 5g’s only side effect is faster & lower latency mobile internet #5gconspiracy

@markfrommellor @BBCOne Let’s not forget - the viewing figures for Wimbledon - is that just figures for viewing from platforms like Freeview/Sky? If so, how many more watched on iPlayer and services like Red Button? We’ll never know though…

@ukdtt @Forces_TV Amazing how many are moaning over the closure of ForcesTV - Do they not realise there are DVD's of almost all the series they watched on that channel? Close Freeview down completely, move to Freesat which will always have more channel capacity anyway, Freeview has become a JOKE

@anee1a Probably 50% of the foreign films I've seen I saw for the first time on Film4, a Freeview channel lol As long as you're able to read subtitles easily, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm certainly not "cultured", I've just never been put off by subtitles.

So BBC News HD is no longer on Freeview. Pretty much the only channel I actually watch live. This sucks.

@FreeviewTV Now next to useless. Lost CBS Drama to RealityXtra which is not available now in my area (Dover). Freeview says use Internet - newsflash - not everyone in the countryside has useable Internet. BT quoted me £143,000 .... No mobile signal either.

@LeoLem54321 @SkyNews You need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch live TV on any channel or TV service - such as ITV Hub, All 4, YouTube, Sky, Virgin, BT, Freeview, Amazon Prime Video, Now TV - on any device.

@Sparkypatrick Yes I saw that, Talk Talk the cheapest, never looked at Plusnet, just walked up to the precinct and set up new account, new contract, fed up with Freeview content so now at least got all the Sky channels plus catch up and record.
