The #5g nonsense is awful. People setting fire to masts serving critical communications is madness. The frequency used in 5g has been redeployed from tv / freeview but still considerably lower power. 5g’s only side effect is faster & lower latency mobile internet #5gconspiracy

@NadineDorries Still on Freeview and internet. Are you going to have those outlets closed down too you buffoon?

  • LorryLocket Lorrie (@LorryLocket) reported

@virginmedia absolute joke, customer for 20+ yrs, informed services have had a price increase from £99 to £147, rang up to change services to reduce costs, best they can do is Freeview for £89?! Person I spoke to unhelpful and uninterested 🤯

  • JoeClitherow Joe Clitherow (@JoeClitherow) reported

@Agar5588 @NadineDorries I think that's different to the satellite source being taken down. Sky or Freeview could have acted unilaterally to block broadcast, whereas satellite block removed the option

  • AnitaMcDonald1 2k💙💙 (@AnitaMcDonald1) reported

@PrincessMS23 We pay more than double that Fiona and it's ridiculous. I want rid of it but we are stuck as can't get freeview due to poor signal. X

  • I_VG Dr Isabelle Vella Gregory (@I_VG) reported

@KabwePRQ Oh good thanks for this. Have had trouble getting AJ on freeview today dunno why. Dodgy aerial I think. BBC had a brief mention. Nothing from sky.

  • WHBrigzy WHBrigzy (@WHBrigzy) reported

@PaulJCobbe Should be on BBC TWO. This broadcast has been terrible shite all night and when they said switch to BBC TWO what if the broadcasting had failed to carry on for arguments sake and miss something! End of the day, its freeview so news can go any channel! Dont see your problem on it

  • JoeClitherow Joe Clitherow (@JoeClitherow) reported

@Agar5588 @NadineDorries Isn't the Freeview a satellite relay broadcast though? I think RT is uploaded to satellite from Moscow, then downloaded to consumer satellite dishes and relay stations for terrestrial broadcast, e.g. via Freeview So removing from the satellite should also take down Freeview

  • Woolychops Mrs W. Chops (@Woolychops) reported

@missy_molly_mol Quite possibly one of the worst freeview channels available.

  • skipaiotter Skipai Otter (@skipaiotter) reported

@BackPawScratch Freeview is basically a rebroadcast of what is being beamed down from that really and then retransmitting it via airwaves. They're going to lose that feed or whatever Astra decides to put up as placeholder when channel goes off.

@Mike_Fabricant You don't need to pass legislation, just need service providers to not allow them to use their platform. It's not available on virgin media, so why don't sky and Freeview also kick them off? @skytv @FreeviewTV #BackBoris #StandingWithUkraine
