  The #5g nonsense is awful. People setting fire to masts serving critical communications is madness. The frequency used in 5g has been redeployed from tv / freeview but still considerably lower power. 5g’s only side effect is faster & lower latency mobile internet #5gconspiracy

  @dodgson_sally Since all the channels on Freeview carry adverts why on earth is the Govt getting involved in trying to scrap it? Surely it funds itself? Bad news for pensioners & disabled people who rely on access to tv every day. Better to scrap GB News & OfCom. @lisanandy @andyburnham

  @Steven59066 @AmandaMounthump My idea to write to parliament. You're a kind man and they shouldn't be making decisions like this, which will cause you problems and upset, so it will. They need to be told its not right and the decision needs stopped. Although someone told me Freeview might actually stay

  BBC TV Presenter Clive Myrie stated he doesn't have a television in his house and the termination of FREEVIEW should not be a problem to him. 🌐

  @_Leyanelle_ @DaveyTheTroll Stv player had a major habit of freezing randomly then utterly crashing comedically large parts of Dundee down by the Tay are served by the relay transmitter at Tay bridge on the fife side which has a significantly reduced freeview service compared to rest of Dundee

  @2810jeremy @BROKENBRITAIN0 It's not the TV set we pay a license for here in the UK, it's any broadcast, BBC, ITV, CH4, CH5 and Freeview, including on-demand BBC iPlayer. You do not need a license to play games, dvds, most of netflix prime etc, that's why so many are cancelling it, we are paying for ****.

  @CountMoriarty @dave43law Yeah its stupid. What is the positive of switching it off? Everyone would need a fire stick type of thing and apps to watch channels. They're rubbish. There's often delay/time lag and no full access to all Freeview channels. Freeview is better

  @jwar123 @BBCStokeSport Don't mind so much when we're at home, it's the away matches being only on Freeview that's the problem
