@stonecoldjohn73 Hi, You may receive your signal from another transmitter. Good news you have your Freeview reception restored. Please DM your postcode, house name/number if you require further advice. Kind Regards Melissa

@Dean0076103703 @GaryLineker No, sorry, you're lying. The BBC funds two of the six multiplexes that deliver Freeview and Freesat content nationally. If you scrapped the licence fee, you'd have to fund that from somewhere else. If you don't understand the issue, it's best to reserve judgement.

@WilliamAllen29 @Garbhan_D I presume they're only blocked where they can be blocked i.e. via Sky, where location of the viewer is known. It wouldn't be feasible to block thru Freeview, as that just works off of transmitters. Most countries have land borders, so signal leakage presumably tolerated re rights

I take it we're not alone in all channels having no signal from the Bilsdale transmitter on @Freeview?

  • ChrisBagguley Chris Bagguley💙 (@ChrisBagguley) reported

@kevinsmall9 @BBCRadioStoke Now medium wave has gone there are only Freeview DAB and FM to choose from. Suppose they are going by interest and support. Personally Freeview works for me if Stoke were on there but expect whoever's at home between Vale and Crewe will get the Freeview slot.

@tompeck I'd sooner pay the licence fee than the rip off subscriptions of both Virgin and Sky It's amazing how a huge % of the defund the BBC brigade have no problem subscribing to TV and Broadband packages that charge you to send down freeview channels and charge you a phone line rental
