@JamesCridland @EFTM No mate, because you're the only one on the planet who cares:))) sorry... cross carry of EPG was an issue when i was at SBS - industry doesn't care, put too much effort into Freeview+ instead of the basic EPG - I hear ya... but, I'd be sticking with fetch:)

@a516digital I'm mystified why they send someone round when I've already established reception is not possible. I watch local TV on sky or freesat no problem!which is for the Thames valley, on freeview its if I'm lucky other wise very weak Anglia or west from swindon.

Freeview reception seems down again right now. The picture is all heavily pixelated. I've tried it using 2 different aerial cables and 3 different televisions. I just forked out on a new 4k tv last month. Not happpy!

@philquin Looks like Freeview isn't available to me, though. They don't do an app for the Apple TV decoder (which is what I use with what is now described as an "older" smart TV). Well, that sucks!

@Sotlive @BBCRadioStoke Is it not easier to listen through Freeview, given that most households now have at least one if not multiple Freeview enabled TV'S? Problem with MW, and has been for some time, is that the only way to get MW is in the car. So in many ways it makes sense. MW radios now obsolete.
