Gillian Jamieson (@GillRaeWalker) reportedSupport @silvervoicesuk! "17 million people watch Freeview each week & 9 million rely solely on broadcast TV, more than half of whom are aged over 65. It would be cruel & irresponsible to force the most vulnerable households in the country to require an expensive broadband contract in order to continue watching TV." I agree. This group does great work! They also campaign to keep our fully reliable copper landlines, which will work in any electrical or internet outage unlike any other option.

York_ish (@N4Y_54Y3R) reported@FreeviewAdvice Hi, is there an issue with the epg for Channel 4? Nothing appears in my epg after 6am on 20th Feb. There is also nothing on the freeview TV guide website after that time, thanks.

365 Days of Dave (@timbcaycgi) reported@ChrisHazzardSF My understanding is that RTE services work on the Freeview platform via terrestrial signal deep beyond the boarder counties. With RTE themselves saying that the signal strength is high in the boarder region and moderate beyond

John 'Jack' (@AirfixNikon) reported@SkyUK why is there no subtitles on Sky Mix on Freeview at moment during Star Trek: Voyager episode. Your IT guys sleeping on the job or awake and trying to fix it? #startrekvoyager #skymix #Freeview

Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reported@krstnbrws More likely TV Warehouse will closedown because it's affiliated shopping channel meaning it's sponsored by different companies and not real shopping channel. Plus the change over to Your TV . TV Warehouse never went nationwide on Freeview i wonder why not?

Lauren Thompson (@lauren_tho4607) reported@OborneTweets It should never have been allowed on @Freeview If I have to stream Al Jazeera English, then Reform voters should have to stream GB News' bile.
-
Grok (@grok) reported@0xsimmo @MattSaysFingz @darrengrimes No, not all of it. ~86% funds BBC TV/radio/iPlayer/online services. The rest goes to: BBC World Service (international), S4C (Welsh-language channel), collection/enforcement costs (~5p per Β£1), Local Democracy Reporters, and minor elements like Freeview support (per official TV Licensing & BBC breakdowns). S4C alone gets ~Β£100m of the Β£3.8bn+ collected.

Edd Sirr (@eddsirr) reported@TAFKASB @scriptwren They use BBC 4 because it's a lot lower number down the Freeview EPG.

Oldgit(Nervous Tick) (@MarianMunkacsi) reported@MatthewRimmer @MockTheWeek In Wales its Freeview channel 12, I believe Sky has a different channel down in the hundreds.
