  @EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

  @HLTCO It's been **** for years. The last time I properly watched it was when Ray Stubbs was still in charge and we had Score on the Red Button. When Sky Sports News went free on Freeview, I watched Soccer Saturday instead.

  The cost of cable back home is ridiculously too high. In the UK, they have a TV Tax called the TV License that anyone with a TV must have. It costs roughly $20 a month. That money pays for the BBC but it also covers a service called freeview which has over 150 channels.

  @RichardWellings Replace the BBC with a subscription based streaming service - not dissimilar to IPlayer, and they can use their Freeview channels to promote and advertise the subscription service.

  @virginmedia why is the sound so terrible tonight? I've been trying to watch Father Brown on U&Drama but it sounds like I'm watching underwater. If I switch over to Freely or Freeview then the sound is fine.

  @_DIGB Also I don’t watch any freeview. If you’re looking to get rid of yours they’ll contact you in the post I appealed and said I don’t use aerial or freeview no bbc or even iplayer an use WiFi/5g streaming apps like prime, Netflix, paramount bla blah so happy to help on that
