@EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

@timglanfield Very much depends on the price of the service and whether there's anything else on the channel to justify it. If it was included with Prime or Netflix then yes, but maybe not if it's on something naff like BritBox. I'd rather it went to a Freeview channel such as E4.

@FPL_CHEF We are with @virginmedia they want to put it up to over £65p/m for Internet and basic freeview channels. I have ordered a 5G hub from 3 I think £21p/m and will obviously just get a dodgy box to go with it which would allow me to cancel nowtv sky sports etc

@DaveModculture You need to get one of those recordable Humax freeview boxes. The hard drive on mine is full of films from Talking Pictures that'll I'll never get around to watching.

@virginmedia hey, quick question, if i cancel my contract do i still get to keep the virgin box? And would i still be able to watch freeview channels through it? Thanks.

@Forces_TV rapidly becoming one of the best channels on TV but alas it's no longer showing on the BT box because of weak signal in the Sunderland area so cannot watch, or record anything for catch-up later. Is this a transmitter issue? @bt_uk Still getting it via Freeview on TV

@LBC @darrenadam Most of the youngsters I know have given up Freeview channels but kept Netflix. That way they save money and never have to watch Allsopp. Win win

@kronosarm @Steveonstradey @fesshole English regions HD need to be on Freeview, FreeSat and Sky. Plus backups. Plus switching at network junction points. Plus upgrading regional studios to HD (cameras, edit, play out). Massive expense for 28 mins at 6:30 and 3 x 6 min bulletins. That, or quality content?

@BBCThree One word. Shallow. Pandering to 'yoof' never works. To think 3 used to have great science and factual shows. Now look. And cramming it back on has messed up my freeview big time, so thanks for that BBC, never seem to get it right these days. #bbc3
