  @EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

  With Freeview, if your WiFi went down, you could still watch TV. With Freely, this isn't the case. It's horrendous. Maybe I'm imagining things? I wish I was.

  @RichardWellings Replace the BBC with a subscription based streaming service - not dissimilar to IPlayer, and they can use their Freeview channels to promote and advertise the subscription service.

  @dskiuk2 @Danrocsky76 @cordbusters I went Paris last year and our tv where we stayed was through through aerial, 50 odd channels and every single one of the was HD. Freeview now is terrible in 2026, full of shovelware channels and hardly any HD channels, SD channels look awful as well.

No **** Sherlock, why should we phone in when you can’t be bothered to put us on the RADIO - just in case you don’t understand, Freeview is not available to most people who are not at home!   I know we've got a bad storm here etc. But I can't understand why the superfast broadband won't work or stream movies, but the digital freeview aerial works.

  @JAMESRW1981 @SeddSezz I don't have any streaming services apart from Freeview play, all my lights are LED, I don't heat my house unless it's bitterly cold, I don't smoke, never have. I like a couple of beers after working 9-12 hrs a day. Hardly ever get takeaways or take the Mrs out for a meal.
