@htwcentral @FreeviewAdvice @FreeviewTV Yes. LG says it's coz they broadcast in MHEG instead of HBB. This is a lie. They all broadcast in both now. The fault is with the firmware but they're saying not. If they physically can't pick up all channels (as opposed reception issues) it shouldn't be sold as Freeview Play.

Me who was going to be out no than 10am...almost three hours later. Messing around with the Freeview recorder. Seeing signal strength change every time you retune 😠and sometimes when you don't. It does look as though I need to buy a USB stick to allow any recording.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

(Existing channels are exempt for this rule though). The green light follows a consultation that took place between November & January. However, only a small number of Freeview Play devices will support these developments: your TV or box needs to support Channel List Management.

If I invest in that portable hard drive to record Freeview. Two things will happen. I'll either find it will never have much space taken up because there are so many repeats or stuff that doesn't interest or...I'll be recording so much I will be possibly watching loads that I>>>

  • ServicetechDave David Roberts (@ServicetechDave) reported

FREEVIEW DVB-T RECEPTION. There is currently a High Barometric Weather system over the UK and this is causing reception problems as regards Freeview Channels. Nothing can be done about it apart from moving to Satellite TV. Please don't adjust your TV's Tuning?

  • macman9999 macman9999 (@macman9999) reported

@FreeviewAdvice You can get good clear pictures from Mars but not from Freeview, about time this problem was put right, i keep losing all BBC Channels, nothing sorts the problem out. its a service not fit for purpose.

  • TheTennisTalker Chris Goldsmith (@TheTennisTalker) reported

@ChrisBrownSport @winklepin @BBCiPlayer I am watching on Freeview but my signal is very off and on. The iPlayer much better as goes through my WiFi . Grrrrr annoying

  • GriffAurora Griff Griffith 💙 (@GriffAurora) reported

@RaymondSnoddy @EvansTheCrime Government have admitted that current free-to-air technology cannot support a subscription service, which requires some form of encryption & password to work. The cost of retrofitting Freeview and every TV in the land would be massive - who will pay?

  • PogleTog TogPogle (@PogleTog) reported

  • RLBROOKSLTD BROOKS WHITEHAVEN (@RLBROOKSLTD) reported

02/03/2021: Freeview TV Signal Issues The Whitehaven & St Bees TV transmitters currently have reported faults on BBC channels due due to essential engineering work. Our advice is that you DO NOT RE-TUNE YOUR TV’S. we would expect that the signal will return once the work is done.
